Adaptation

Chapter 1

My name is Adelaine and I am the adoptive daughter of Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell.

I was living in a refuge and trying to cope with a long distance relationship when I ran into them when I was having a panic attack in a cafe. I was having flash backs in the cafe and was literally short of breath when Anthony came in for a coffee before going into the studio to record a new song. He saw me while waiting for his coffee as I was sitting there in tears and hyperventilating because I couldn't get my breath. He sat beside me and helped me through it. He rubbed my back all the while trying to get me to talk to him and helping me breath.

We were sitting there for at least 2 hours while he helped me. During that time he was trying to get a hold of my boyfriend Andy Biersack so he could maybe help settle me down as well but he was not answering his phone as he is currently on tour in Asia.

When he finally answered his phone Anthony told him what was happening and he put it on speaker so I could hear what he said. When I heard his voice I started to settle down and between Anthony calming me down and Andy talking me through it I was fine by the time Andy had to go so he could go back on stage.

Anthony sat there the whole time rubbing my back and talking me through it until he was sure I was okay. When he was sure I was okay he still stayed there talking to me. He asked me why I was sitting in a cafe alone like I was, when really it was not a good place to be when you are having a panic attack.

So we sat there and I told him my parents died in a car accident and no other relative was able to look after me and my boyfriend at the time dumped me in this refuge because his mother couldn't cope with my mental illness. Not long after he did he dumped me so I was stuck because Andy was touring for nearly 8 months and he couldn't take me with him yet as we had only been going out for 6 months. We met when he had a show in Australia and my parents bought me the ticket before they died so I went and he saw me crying when he went outside for fresh air. He calmed me down and asked what was wrong and I don't know why but I just felt safe with him so I told him why. He told me a beautiful girl like me shouldn't be crying. We got talking and he asked me on a date.

That was 6 months ago and it's so hard being in a long distance relationship but Ant knew what that was like so he told me things I could do to stop myself from missing him so much.

You see I am a fan of Anthony and his husband Tim Campbell. I love them and he knew as I follow them both on Twitter. He saw my profile picture the little stalker.

We became friends and he gave me his number if I ever need him then I can call him.
