I have listened to every noise
but there's nothing more deafening
than the silence between us.
I have been a pilot
and have traveled everywhere in the world
but there's no better place
than it was our little world.
I have been an interpreter
have worked and spoken
every language of the world
but there's no better language
than our love's one,
I have been and seen,
came and gone,
but nothing stayed in my mind
memories are forever gone
I have been and seen,
lived and loved,
but have never and will ever
feel something for someone
like I did once
I even had amnesia
but my heart knew,
my mind forgot everything
but I still wanted you.
