I felt it deep within me
an eternal love
it seemed to never fade,
an internal force
something really strong
it attached me to you,
I felt secure,
I felt home,
it seemed like I knew you
and wished to love you forever.
Time really heals wounds,
but can it also fade love away
little by little.
All I know is that I want that feeling back again
and I'm trying really hard.
