CALUM'S PART OF VIEW

C A L U M S      P O V :

"Yeah Mr.Davis?" I asked when he was walking me out of the bakery so we could talk.

"Well Calum... I care about you, as a son I mean." Mr.Davis said.

Oh no he was going to give me a talk. It's either about my job or about Callie.

"Calum. What I'm trying to say is... My daughter, Callie, she needs friends not a boyfriend. Callie moves back and forth from Australia to England. If she has a boyfriend she's going to want to stay. It might be a good thing that she will stay in Australia. But, Calum your famous. Your going to get more famous and traveling more on your next tour soon. Callie is going to want to go with you, and I'm not going to let my daughter go travel the world with her boyfriend." Mr.Davis said again.

I liked Callie. I liked Callie Davis, and damn did I like her a lot? Well yeah I did. I liked everything about her. Her dark brown flowing wavy hair falling a little above her waist. Her light gray eyes that can easily be mistaken as white. Her long eyelashes, her full lips. The way she smiles. I liked how her skin was slightly tanned all the time. I liked how she laughed. I even liked how her nails were short.

Yeah, I liked Callie Davis. And I like her a lot.

"Mr.Davis," I said, "I like your daughter. I like her a lot. But if you don't want me dating her then that's your problem. You can fire me if you want, but that won't stop my feelings for your daughter. I'm sorry. I am truly sorry sir."

"Calum, I understand that you like her. But be serious with me, soon you won't have the same feelings for her as you do now." Mr.Davis said to me looking me in the eye.

I didn't care what he had to say. I walked away from him. I was going to ask Callie Davis out, even if he threatened my job at the bakery.

Mr. Davis left. I saw him, he got in his car and drove away.

I walked to Callie. "Hey where's Luke?" I asked.

"Luke said he had to go somewhere. So I guess its just the two of us...?" Callie said.

"Um.. Callie I need to ask you something..." I said to her looking in her gray eyes.

"Yeah Cal. Whats up?" Callie asked.

"Callie I like you. I like you a lot. I like you like.... I like you like.... I don't really know how to describe it.. All I know is that I like you way more than friends." I said to her. She looked down at her feet and then up at me.

"Calum....." Callie started to say.

"Callie, I like you. The day I met you I know I was a jerk but I couldn't help the feeling I felt when I saw you." I said.

"Calum, I know your famous and all.... But I barely know you... Anyways my dad told me yesterday night before I went to bed that he doesn't want me to have a boyfriend." Callie said looking at her feet again.

"I know he doesn't want you to be with somebody. But Callie I like you. And when I say 'I like you' I mean it." I said to her. I lifted her head up a little so she would look in my eyes.

"I.....I need to go now." Callie said and walked away.

She walked down the sidewalk and kept her head down.

"CALLIE!" I called out. She didn't turn her head. She just kept walking. I ran to her. More of a jog though. As I caught up to her I grabbed her shoulder.

"Calum Hood I seriously have to go." Callie said looking around.

"Callie Davis I seriously have to talk about this with you." I said to her, "Callie Davis please, please give me a chance. Please. I want to be with you." I grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. She looked so beautiful. Like a painting. No, not even a professional artist can capture her beauty.

"Calum Hood, I'm not going to say no but I'm not going to say yes. I'm like... I'm like a season of the weather. There's Spring, there's Fall, there's Winter, and there's Summer. Do you want to know what I and all the seasons have alike? We come and we go. Calum Hood I can't change the fact that soon I'm going to go back to England or that you are going to go on tour soon. I can't change the fact that soon there will be no us. I'm sorry Calum Hood but that is inevitable. I'm going to come and go and so will you." Callie said to me looking deep into my eyes.

"But-" I said. Callie cut me off,"I'm like a season of the weather. I come and I go." Callie said to me.

"Callie...." I started to say but she left running off. Her dad was driving by and she caught a ride with him. He looked me in the eye from the drivers seat. I knew he hated me and I already knew that there was going to be no point in going in tommorow for my shift at the bakery.
