Chapter Nine;It Felt Like We Were The Only Ones In The World

C A L L I E :

It was 5 p.m. and me and Calum were still talking. The conversation topic moved to things we should do in the future. 

"Hey guys we're all going to go out to get something to eat down at the pier want to come?" Luke asked.

"Yeah sure. But I have to take a shower... So..." I said.

"We'll meet you guys there Luke." Calum said. I didn't have a car so Calum was my ride unless anyone else wanted to wait for me.

"Nah Calum you should head with the guys me and Kasey will wait for Callie-Bae." Rachel said. Me, Rachel, and Kasey started calling each other Bae. It was our thing. 

"I can stay with Callie. You guys should go Callie and I can catch up." Calum says he looks at  me and then back at Rachel. I went to go take a shower, then I heard the front-door shut. They probably left and someone stayed behind to give me a ride, I thought. 

When I was done taking a shower I went to Calum's room to change. It felt weird to be in a guy's room completely naked but my bags were in there so..... I changed quick. 

I had on a gray short sleeved t-shirt, black shorts, and black flip-flops. I put my hair in a high-low pony-tail. 

Calum's room door was locked and I heard someone knocking on it. "Who?" I asked.

"Its the.... Cleaning Guy." I heard Calum's voice say. I opened the door. 

"Cleaning Guy?" I asked and laughed a bit. 

He smirked, "Like you can come up with better?" He asked.

"Way better than 'Cleaning Guy'." I said and smirked. 

"Yeah sure whatever you say Cal. Are you ready to go?" Calum asked. I nodded. 

Calum kissed my cheek and we left for the pier. Once we made it there everyone (Luke, Mike, Ash, Rachel, Kasey, and Ash's girlfriend Layla) were seated at the Pizza Parlor. Cal and I walked over. 

Ashton's girlfriend Layla eyed me up and down and rolled her eyes. She had bright red lipstick on, a short black dress, and so so so and I mean so much mascara on. Her shoes were laced black. I have to say Layla is really pretty, she had sun-tanned skin, pitch black straight hair, and big hazel eyes.

"CALLIE-BAE!!!!" Kasey and Rachel said in harmony. Layla turned to look at them and said, "What?" Kasey was wearing her long blonde hair in a high bun, her shirt was soft pink and lacy, she had on white shorts, and her shoes were white Vans. "We call each other Bae. You can do it too if you want." Kasey said.

Rachel nodded and got up to hug me. Rachel had on a black crop-top with red ripped jeans and black leather boots. Her purple hair was in a fish-tail braid. "Hey Baes!" I said.

By then Calum, Luke, Ash, and Mike were in a conversation at the table. Layla said, "Um... Hi Bae?" We all ended up laughing a bit even Layla.

"Babe do you want to go inside and order with me?" Michael came over to us and asked Rachel. 

"Yeah sure." Rachel said and kissed Michael's cheek. They went inside the Parlor to order pizza for everyone. 

"So... Callie.. I see your not dressed for tonight...." Layla said. Sometimes she was nice and sometimes she was a bit rude. But Ash seemed to like her a lot so I guess I can live with it.

"Um... Dressed for what? I thought we were just going to hang here and maybe catch some waves." I said. Thats why I had my bathing suit under my clothes. Calum said to bring a bathing suit along so I did.
