CALLIE'S POV

C A L L I E :

I walked away from Calum. I wasn't going to fall for another guy when I already knew I might leave again next year. My dad was driving by, when he saw me he stopped the car. I got in the passenger side. As we drove by Calum I looked at his brown eyes and then I looked away. "Callie, you know I don't want you with that guy." my father said to me.

"Yes dad I know." I said.

We drove to the apartment, I got out of the car and went straight inside. Our apartment wasn't small, it really wasn't an apartment either. It was a small house that had 3 rooms. I went upstairs to my room and locked the door. Staring at the ceiling, the plain old white ceiling. I lye on the floor and stared and stared at the ceiling it wasn't really white but it wasn't exactly cream colored... My phone began to vibrate in my pocket. It was Calum, I gave him my number the night we had dinner together. I don't know why I did. He just asked for it. I waited before I answered. When I did, I was glad that I did answer.

"Callie! Hey... Hey." Calum was saying, "Callie.. Look... I understand why you don't want to go out..."

"I don't want to talk about this." I said. I got up from the floor and looked out the window. My window had a view of the driveway and I saw my dad backing the car out of the driveway.

"Okay, fine okay.. Callie can we still be friends?" He was saying. I heard voices on the other line of the phone.

I was still looking out the window. My dad left. "Callie.....? Hello....?" Calum said. I hadn't realized that I was still on the phone.

"Um... Yeah Calum sure." I said. I then heard fumbling on the other side of the phone. "Calum... What are you doing?" I asked.

"Ah... I'm at Ashton's house." (Calum said)

"Whose Ashton?" (I asked)

"Oh yeah you don't know about the band you unsocial weirdo." Calum said and laughed. I laughed too.

"Well whatever then.." (I said)

"Callie Davis are you bored?"

"What?" I asked.

"Are you bored because you haven't hanged up yet."

"Oh... Okay then Calum Thomas Hood I'm hanging up."

"You looked me up on Google didn't you?" He said. I smiled a little to myself.

"Maybe... I got bored..."

"Wow... At least I know I'm searched by people."

"Calum! All I had to do was to type in Calum! And then Calum Thomas Hood popped up."

"Ha. So your bored?" Calum asked again.

"Yep.."

"Well Ashton is throwing a party. Do you want to come?"

"Uhhh..... Yeah sure." I said.

"Okay.. I'll pick you up at.... Lets say.... 10 p.m...?

"Yeah sure." I responded.

"Okay Callie Davis you better be ready by then." Calum said.

"Okay Calum Hood I will. Bye" I said and hung up the phone.

I put my phone at my heart and stared at the ceiling again. Then I looked at the time, it was 7 o'clock and my dad wasn't home yet. I decided to call him, but he wouldn't pick up. I went downstairs to the kitchen, there was note. The note said:

Cal darling... I'm going to your great-grandfathers home he is really ill. Your great-grandfather only wanted his grandchildren to come to see him. I don't honestly know why. But I'll be back in a week or so.. Who knows.. I'll call you when I get there. -Your dad.

Well, I thought, now I can go to that party. When I looked at the time it was 7:23 p.m.. I decided to take a shower and get ready for the party.

After I got dressed and brushed my hair I decided to just wait. It was 8:00 p.m.. I was tired of waiting so I went to my room and put on some Chap-Stick. I don't like to wear make-up, to me inner beauty is all that matters.

I checked the time again 8:10 p.m.. I decided to text Calum:

Hey  ~ Callie

Hey are you ready yet? ~ Calum

Sadly... Yes. ~ Callie

Haha do you want me to pick you up? ~ Calum

.... Sure....? ~ Callie

I went downstairs and watched television until Calum came. When he did it wasn't like he knocked on the door. Nope, the door was unlocked so he walked right in. I didn't mind though.

"Hey...." I said.

"Hey Ms. Davis. Are you ready to go?" Calum asked.

"I thought the party was at ten.." I said.

"Yeah but we can go someplace else first and hang out and then go to the party." Calum said.

"Um okay."

"Where's your dad?"

"He's at his grandfathers house he won't be back for a week or so..."

"Oh, okay." Calum said. I stared at him. At his eyes. I couldn't help it. I just stared until he asked, "Do you want to watch this movie coming next?"

"Yeah sure." I said. Calum sat on the couch next to me. The movie we were watching was 'The Breakfast Bunch' I watched it before but I didn't care really. All I could even think about is Calum.
