Chapter 3: Medicine

Junior woke up in his room. Must of fainted again He thought.
Junior looked around. No one was in his room. Cody and Joseph must of left I've probably been sleeping for a long time like last time. I don't blame them for leaving.
He tried sitting up but his head still hurt really bad. He started to feel hungry so he tried to call Chef Pee Pee but he couldn't yell because of his sore throat so he only let out a whisper that he could barely hear.
Then he heard footsteps coming from the hallway and coming towards his room.
Cody opened the door.
"Cody?" Junior asked "Why are you here? I thought you left"
"Well I wanted to make sure you where ok" Cody replied. "But Joseph left"
"That's a surprise" Junior said sarcastically.
Cody handed Junior the cup of water.
Junior drank the water really fast because his throat and mouth was so dry.
Cody took the cup back and set it on the nightstand. Cody saw the medicine.
"Oh yeah! Chef Pee Pee told me you need to take your medicine!" Said Cody grabbing the medicine bottle.
He grabbed a spoon and began pouring a little bit of the medicine on to it.
"What color is the medicine?" Junior asked.
"Uh, pink" Cody answered. "Why?"
"Well looks like I'm not taking my medicine" Junior said.
"What? Why? Just because it's pink that means you won't take it?" Cody asked
"Yes, because the pink medicine tastes gross. The purple medicine is the best because it tastes like grape, but the pink medicine tastes disgusting so I'm not taking it" Junior explained.
"Well you have to take it whether it tastes terrible or not" Cody said and put the spoon in front of Junior's face.
Junior pushed the spoon away and stuck out his tongue at Cody
"Oh wow how very mature Junior" Cody said sarcastically.
Cody put the spoon in front of Junior's face again but he did the same thing.
"Come on Junior you're acting like a four year old!" Cody said. "Just take your medicine and you won't be sick anymore"
"I'd rather have your mom sit on me than take that stupid medicine" Junior replied
"Really!? You just had to make a joke about my mom?" Cody yelled
"Well it's true" Junior said. "And there's no way I'm taking that medicine, not ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever"
"We'll see about that" Cody said and put the spoon in Junior's face again.
Junior tried pushing the spoon away but this time Cody grabbed his hands. He gave Junior the medicine.
Junior gagged and spit trying to get the medicine taste out of his mouth.
He was gonna grab his cup of water and ask Cody to refill it, but he noticed Cody was still holding his hands.
"Uh, Cody you can let go of my hands now" Junior told him
"O-oh" Cody said and quickly took his hands away from Junior.
He knew his face was getting red.
Cody was going to say something when they both heard Chef Pee Pee yell.
"Cody! Your mom is here!" He yelled.
"Ok I'll be right there!" Cody yelled back.
"See you Junior! Hope you get better soon!" Cody said and left quickly.
Junior didn't understand why Cody's face was getting red. Was he getting sick too?
