Chapter 14: Helping

It has been about a week since Cody had gone to Junior house.
He tried texting him but he never answered or even read the texts.
Cody was starting to get worried.
Maybe I should check on him Cody thought to himself no.. he'll probably still be in his room and won't let me come in..
Then Cody remembered. The key...

A couple months ago Junior, Joseph and Cody went through a phase were they thought aliens were real and would kidnap them, so they all gave each other keys to their bedroom so they could make sure they were all safe.
Cody walked up to his dresser and opened the top drawer. He took some stuff out and kept looking for the key.
Eventually he found it.

Cody put the key in his pocket and walked into the living room.
"Mom I'm going to Junior's!" Cody called
"Wait Cody!" Cody's mom said "don't you wanna play-"
"No mom, I don't want to play any stupid board games" Cody replied "now, I'm leaving!"

Cody knocked on the door and Chef Pee Pee let him in.
"No matter what you say Cody, I don't think he'll come out of his room, trust me we tried everything"
"I think I have an idea" Cody said walking upstairs
"Ok, but if you need anything I'll be down here making dinner!" Chef Pee Pee replied

Cody walked up to Junior's bedroom door. He knocked.
No answer.
"That was kinda expected.." Cody mumbled
"Junior it's me, Cody uh, can I come in?" Cody asked
No answer.
Cody sighed.
"Junior I can open your door you know. I have a key" Cody said taking the key out of his pocket.
Still no answer.
"Ok Junior I'm coming in" Cody said as he unlocked the door.

Cody walked in and saw Junior laying face first on his bed not moving.
He wasn't dead because Cody could tell he was breathing.
"Junior.." Cody said and sat on the end of Junior's bed "you ok?"
No answer.
"Junior you can't ignore me forever, now talk to me" Cody said
No answer.
Cody lifted Junior's head up and got him to sit up.
He looked terrible.

Junior's eyes were red and puffy probably from crying.
He had dark bags under his eyes and look liked he hadn't slept in days.
He avoided eye contact with Cody
"Junior, y-you look terrible.." Cody said starting to worry
"Gee.. Thanks Cody.." Junior mumbled
"No, I'm being serious."Cody said trying to get Junior to look at him "When was the last time you slept?"
"S-Saturday.... I think..." Junior replied
"Saturday!?" Cody repeated "Junior, today is Tuesday! You're telling me you haven't slept in 3 days?"
"I g-guess..." Junior mumbled
"Junior you need to sleep! What you are doing is unhealthy!" Cody said "And let me guess if you haven't slept in 3 days that means you haven't taken a shower in 3 days."
Junior finally looked at Cody

"I'm s-sorry Cody.. I j-just-" Junior started
"No it's not your fault.. "Cody said standing up "here come with me I'll start the shower.
Cody turned on the shower and went back to Junior's room to wait.
Junior shut the door and looked in the mirror.
"O-oh.. shit.. Cody w-was right.. I l-look awful.." Junior mumbled
I want Cody to be happy Junior thought while getting into the shower Taking a shower while make him happy.. he looks so cute when he smiles..

After Junior got out of the shower, he dried off and put on his clothes.
He looked in the mirror.
His hair wasn't greasy like it was before and his eyes weren't as red as used to be.
He still had bags under his eyes, but he felt and looked better.
Junior walked out of the bathroom and went back into his bedroom were he saw Cody waiting

As soon as he saw Junior walked in he walked up to him
"See Junior! You look better already!" Cody said and his face turned a light shade of pink.
Junior looked at him and smiled.
Then Junior realized how tired he was. His vision began to blur and all remembered was falling and Cody catching him.
