Chapter 9: Telling

Junior woke up and noticed Cody's arms were still wrapped around his waist.
Junior tried to get up, but Cody didn't let go.
Junior managed to get out of bed and he tried walking but Cody was still hugging him.
"Cody!" Junior whined "let go! I got to go to the bathroom!"
"fiiiiine" Cody sighed and let go.

Cody's Mom gave them breakfast and Junior went home.
He decided it was time to tell Joseph.

Junior called him.
"Hey Joseph! Can you come over today?" Junior asked
"Sure, I guess, not like I have something better to do" Joseph replied "I'll be there around four, ok?"
"Ok Joseph! Sounds great!" Junior replied and hung up.

Joseph arrived at the front door and Junior let him in.
"Hi Joseph!" Junior said cheerfully.
"Hey dude!" Joseph replied. "So what do you want to do?" asked Junior.
"I don't know, let's just watch tv like we usually do" Joseph said "but do you have any snacks or something? I'm starving"
"Oh yeah cause your poor" Junior joked. Joseph glared at him
"Sorry Joseph" Junior said "I'm pretty sure I have some goldfish crackers in the pantry. You can just go to the game room while I get them"
Joseph nodded and ran up to the game room.

Junior grabbed a stool and walked to the pantry.
How am I gonna tell Joseph? I know! I'll just start it off like a normal conversation and then I'll tell him.. yeah I'm sure it'll be fine. Junior thought.
Junior grabbed the bag of goldfish and walked up to the game room.
He sat on the couch next to Joseph
"Dude! What took you so long? The new episode of Doofy the Dragon is almost on!" Joseph said
"Sorry I Just was thinking about some stuff" Junior replied "here's your goldfish" Junior says handing him the bag of crackers
"Thanks dude.. oh look! Doofy is on!" Joseph said changing his attention to the tv.

After the episode was over the boys began taking about school and other stuff.
"Yeah! Last weeks test was so stupid! It didn't even have anything to do with Chinese culture!" Joseph said
"Yeah, it just had questions about cats and dogs and egg rolls" junior replied.
Yep, I bet no one got a good grade on the test" Joseph said "well, except for Cody"
Ok Junior, now is the time to tell him Junior thought
"Joseph can I tell you something?" Junior asked.
"Sure dude" Joseph replied eating goldfish
"Well, it's kinda a secret so you promise you won't tell anyone?" Junior asked
"I promise dude" Joseph replied
"Ok..." Junior started "I think.... I think... I think I might be....."
"Junior speak slower, I can't understand you" Joseph said.
"I think I might be gay" Junior mumbled.
Junior looked up a Joseph
"So you're gay?" Joseph asked. "I-I think Because me and Cody... um" Junior started
"Ok cool" Joseph replied
"I- wait! Really?" Junior said "yeah" Joseph replied
"I thought you would think I was weird.. and not be my friend anymore... and tell the whole school I was.." Junior said
"I seriously don't care that your gay Junior. I mean nothing is really gonna change, like we'll still be best friends, and I wouldn't tell the whole school you where gay, that would be a dick move. And besides the whole school knows that Cody is gay, and if they found out you where gay I don't think they'd care"
"Thanks Joseph" Junior replied "I just wish my dad who have reacted the same way, he actually kicked me out but I just snuck in and I'm gonna avoid him from now on" Junior replied.

That night Junior texted Cody
Junior: hey
Cody: hi!
Junior: so... I told Joseph..
Cody: what did he say?
Junior: he was cool with it
Cody: phew! well I gtg, good night!
Junior: night!

Junior put his phone down and sighed.
I love him
