Chapter 36

Jess's Pov

"How can they just leave us off like that we need to find out what happens between Mia and Adam" Mariana said crying to the tv.

Callie and I cried a little to the movie I cried at the end when she opened her eyes we had chose if I stay as our movie to watch. I love this movie I've seen it way to many times.

"Alright this has been fun but I think I'm going to head off to bed Jess you coming" Mariana said stretching.

"Oh yeah I'll be up in a minute I just want to call my mom" I said.
Mariana nodded and went upstairs.

"I think I'm going to head up to I'll sleep in Brandon's room so you can sleep in my bed" Callie said.

"Thank you Callie" I said.

She smiled at me and went upstairs I texted my foster mom when I heard footsteps.

"Hey" Jesus said sitting next to me.

"Hey" I smiled.

"You okay" Jesus asked me.

"Yeah I was just heading off to bed" I said.

"Jess" Jesus said.

"Yeah" I said after standing up and looking at him. He grabbed my cupped my face and kissed me. I felt butterflies in my stomach the way I felt when I first met him.

I went upstairs and went into Callie's bed. I fell asleep smiling to myself happily after what happened. What does this mean? Is he still with Lexie? These are questions going through my head. As I drifted off to sleep.

~the next morning~

I woke up to Mariana cleaning.

"What are you doing" I said stretching and rubbing my eyes.

"Cleaning guess what" Mariana said.

"What" I said.

"I have a date" Mariana said.

"Oh yeah who" I said I'm not going to lie I'm kind of curious. Not like 'my best friend dated my brother and already is moving on' kind of curious but in a way like 'my best friend is dating a new guy and if he hurts her I will kill him' kind of curious.

"Matt" Mariana said.

"Who" I asked putting my hair up.

"Matt don't worry you'll meet him tonight" Mariana said.

"Will I now?" I said.

"Yeah at our party it's at 8 but come a little earlier so you can help set up" Mariana said.

"And your moms are okay with this" I asked.

"Well no but that's why we're not going to tell them" Mariana said.

"Tell us what" Lena said coming in.

Mariana and I just looked at each other as we both tried to come up with an excuse.

"Tell us what" Lena said one last time.

"Uh that my old foster mom and brother are here and they're trying to see me might want to take me back to Texas" I said.

"Wow do you want to talk about it" Lena asked putting a hand on my shoulder.

"No I'm okay I actually should head home but I'll um see you later" I said.

"Bye Jess" Mariana said giving me a hug. I walked out of her room and headed downstairs.

"Leaving so soon Jess" Stef asked me.

"Yeah I have homework I have to get done thanks for having me though" I said.

"Of course come over anytime" Stef said. I left the house with out bumping into Jesus thank god. I got to my house I laid down in my bed and went on my phone for a good hour.

~later that day~

Hours have gone by and I was texting Marianna about the party and how she wants me to come over so we can get ready together. I hope nick doesn't come to this he'll be so jealous. Oh oops crap you didn't hear that from me that Nick likes Marianna but I doubt they'll date. I grabbed my bag of clothes and walked to there house. You know gotta get my steps in.i walked in the house and went upstairs to Marianna's room.

"Hey" I said.

"Oh hey perfect how does this outfit look" Marianna asked.

"Ummm I like the top but change the pants" I said flopping on her bed.

"Hmm good idea, your not wearing that are you" Marianna asked.

"No I brought clothes to change into" I said nodding my head at her.

"Mhm well start getting dressed" Marianna said.

"Yes ma'am" I said. I started to pull out my clothes out of the bag I brought and started getting change. "Do you know if Nick is coming"

"I mean I'm assuming he is since he is our friend why" Marianna asked.

"No reason just wondering" I said pulling up my jeans.

"Oh my god do you like him" Marianna asked brushing her hair.

"No ew god no" I said.

"You totally do" Marianna said.

"No I don't" I said again.

"Yes you do" Marianna said.

"I like someone but it's definitely not Nick I swear" I said putting on my mascara.

"Oh my god who" Marianna said.

"No one" Damn it why'd I have to bring it up now she's not going to let it go.

"Who" Marianna asked.

"No one" I said going to mirror fixing my top. I put on dark washed skinny jeans with a black crop top and white sneakers.

"Tell me" Marianna said.

"No" I said walking out of the room.

"Tell me" Marianna said.

"If you keep bugging me I'm not going to tell you" I said as we got to the bottom of the stairs.

"So your going to tell me" Marianna asked.

"Now I'm not" I said as we walked into the kitchen as Callie explains why this party is a bad idea.

"This is a bad idea what if we get caught" Callie asked.

"We're not going to get caught" Brandon said.

"Who is that" I asked pointing to the guys next to Callie.

"Wyatt, tell me who you like" Marianna said.

"Leave me alone" I said.

"Callie it's just going to be a few people" Brandon said reassuring her.

"No cancel it" Callie said getting annoyed.

"It's too late" Jesus said looking out the window.

"What why is it too late" Callie said.

"Because there's people already here" Jude said as a bunch of people walked into there back yard.

"We are in so much trouble" Callie said.
