Chapter 22

Jessica's Pov

It was finally Friday thank god. I don't know how much more I can take. At least it's almost spring break. I was lying in bed sitting in the dark hoping and praying that either my alarm goes off or some one comes into my room. I didn't want any one to know yet. My alarm finally went off and I rolled over to the other side of my bed to turn it off. I got up and did my daily morning routine. You know take a shower, do my hair, brush my teeth. That sorta of stuff. I went back into my room to finish getting dressed. I put on a navy blue tank top, light blue ripped skinny jeans, and my brown booties. I took my hair out of the messy bun from last night and just left it natural. I finished doing my makeup when there was a knock on my door.

"Come in" I said putting away all my makeup.

"Ready for another long day" Mariana said walking in.

"Something's different about you" I said standing up.

"What are you talking about" Mariana asked.

"Your hair" I said.

"What about my hair" Mariana asked taking out her makeup.

"It's blonde....nice" I said making up my bed.

"Thanks" Mariana said.

"So are you excited for the assembly" I said throwing pillows on my bed.

"What assembly" Mariana asked.

"The one that's going to be held this morning right when school starts about new rules or something" I said.

"When did they say this" Mariana asked finishing her makeup.

"Yesterday they sent out an email don't you read your emails" I said putting my computer in my backpack.

"Well no not really" Mariana said.

I chuckled a little bit and we went downstairs to leave for school.

We walked to school talking about random things and about the new rules that we think they can be. As we walked into school the first thing that happened is that the teachers escorted us to the gym. We sat by class. So freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. That's fun. I sat with Mariana Jenna her minions Jesus and Nick. Let me tell you how that went.

"This is so stupid I have better things to do" Jenna said practically leaning over us.

"Can someone be more annoying" Mariana said to me. I laughed a little before taking out my phone.

After everyone came well I guess everyone the principle started to speak. Ms.Porter started to speak.

"Good morning students" She began."This Semester we are going to be enforcing some new rules affective immediately. If you skip class it's a detention not only will you have a detention that day but you will also serve a Saturday detention which the times on that will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm." Ms.Porter said.

Everyone was shocked by these new rules. There really strict. I'm just curious by the new rules and the skipping class thing does that start today or did it start like what.

~an hour later~

We were finally let out of the dumb assembly and now I and biology. Which is not only my least favorite class but my hardest class. I'm pretty sure I'm failing in that class and apparently now failing isn't allowed in this school or whatever. I walked into the class and sat down at one of the empty tables. Jenna and one of her minions notice how I don't even say friend it's her minion Courtney I think come in and sit down. Jesus and Nick walk in and they sit at the same table as me. As they sit down Jenna sits down next to them at my table. Kill me now.

"Okay good morning every one now we are all aware of the new rules and I will be enforcing them very much today okay but let's get started pick your lab partner you want for the semester" Mr.Crocker said.

Unfortunately it was either go to Jesus Nick or Jenna. I chose Nick at least he's smart. I guess.

"Nick wanna be my partner" I asked him.

"Yeah sure" Nick said.

"Great I'll get our paper" I said getting up. Of course Jenna and Jesus go together which pisses me off very badly but whatever.

"I'll go get the paper" Jenna said walking with me.

Why god why?

"How does it feel to lose your ex to someone who's better than you" Jenna said to me as we were walking.

"You wish you know what your not worth fighting with" I said trying to get a ways from her.

"Yeah because you know I'll win" Jenna said.

"No I'm just trying not to get a Saturday detention" I said.

"Hmm" Jenna said she hits her self and screams "Ow"

"Jenna is everything okay" Mr.Crocker asked going to her.

"No Jess hit me" She said faking her tears.

"Jessica detention" Mr.Crocker said.

I sat there with my mouth opened dropped to the ground I was shocked she did. Wow I never knew a person can swoop so low.

"Enjoy detention" Jenna said.

"You little-" I said finally reaching the desk grabbing one of the papers and my detention slip.

That bitch.

~the the bell rings~

The bell finally rigs and I'm free. I was the first one out of the class room. I got up and walked to Mariana locker so we can go to lunch.

"Hey how was bio" Mariana asked.

"Guess who got the first Saturday detention" I said.

"What really why" Mariana said closing her locker.

"Because Jenna is a bitch" I said.

"And your just know noticing she's a bitch" Mariana said.

"I mean I knew but okay she hit herself and blamed it on me" I said telling her everything.

"That's so low" Mariana said.

"I know right that's what I said" I said.

"Well your not the only one with a detention though guess who's joining you" Mariana said showing me her slip.

"Texting in class who were you texting" I asked as we got our lunch.

"My mom and apparently that's such a crime now" Mariana said throwing her hands up as we sat down.

"This is going to be a long semester" I said.
