Chapter 19

Jessica's Pov

Longest bus ride of my life I looked out the window the whole time trying to listen to Mariana and Nick's conversation I can tell she was just as annoyed as I was. Like tbh who wouldn't be. Like I don't get it.

We finally got back to the school. I was the first person off the bus I'm not surprised. I grabbed my bag and waited for Mariana and my ride.

"Do you need a ride" Mariana said looking at Lena who was talking to one of the parents.

"No thank you I'm good my mom will be here" I said.

I saw my mom pull up. As Mariana and I were talking. Thank god we don't have school for a week.

"Bye" Mariana said waving to me.

"Bye" I said smiling at her and waving back.

"Hey" I heard from behind.

"Oh hi" I said it was Jesus and Nick. I turned my head getting ready to walk to my car.

"Can we talk" Jesus asked.

"Sorry I have to go maybe another time" I said walking away.

"Jess" I could hear him call in the distance.

Damn it. Keep walking Jess keep walking.

"I'm gonna go talk to Lena I'll be back" my mom said getting out the car.

"Mom no please" I whispered as my mom said walking out.

Damn it damn it damn it. What do I do what do I do.

I see Nick and Jesus walking towards my moms car. What do I do seriously what do I do. Oh please God answer my prayers. Do I pretend to look busy. What do I do? What do I do?

I keep asking myself over and over until it finally clicks. Headphones  yes perfect. I grabbed my headphones and quickly put them in before they came over to the car. 

"By the way by the way you do things to my body I didn't know
that I was starving 'till I  tasted you" I sang while I did my makeup.

Hey I was bored I'm just trying to pass sometime. I heard a knock on my window I just turned the music up even louder. Just to make it seem like I couldn't hear anything.

I grabbed a pair of sunglasses just because it was so bright out and out them on while I continued doing my makeup. I pulled my hair into a messy bun. Hey you try staying in the woods for ex amount of weeks without a shower or shampoo or conditioner and your hair is so greasy or dry and brittle. Ew ew ew ew ew. After about fifteen minutes and I did a whole face of makeup my mom finally came back. Jesus and Nick eventually left after maybe five minutes. Thank God.

"Okay sorry sweetie right to go home" Mom asked.

"Yup" I said.

We drove to our house. The first thing I did was go upstairs throw on some sweats and went to sleep I am so tired.
