y/n tried to get out of the hot humid room but failed so she decided to just shove people out of her way.
she hated party's, they just weren't her thing.

the only reason as to why she was really there was because her friend had forced her to go but she ended up leaving her for some guy she had just met.

she finally got out of the smelly house and walked around the neighborhood. she decided to go to the quarry which wasn't that far from where she was.

she grabbed a cigarette and a lighter and lit the cigarette and put it in her mouth. once she got to the quarry she decided to sit near the edge and just smoke her cig peacefully.

she would often look up at the stars and admire them. she took a puff of cancer smoke and looked at the shining stars.

y/n then heard leaves crunch behind her. she turned around and soon relaxed when she saw richie.

"you scared the living shit out of me." y/n
chuckled a bit.

he smiled and walked closer to her. "sorry darling, didn't mean to scare you."

she thought it was quite weird. i mean richard stopped talking to y/n out of nowhere, it completely broke her heart, she loved him a lot.

but since then they haven't said a word to each other since 6th grade. i mean god, they're sophomores right now, how long has it been?

"so, what are you doing here?" y/n asked while taking another puff.

"what are you doing here?" he sat next to her.

"i'm not a party hoe."

"same, they're loud and full of crackheads."

"exactly."

y/n and richie continued talking about everything as they now laid down on the edge of the quarry, they both looked up at the sky and just admired everything, including each other.

"w-why did we ever stop talking?" y/n asked the boy who laid next to her.

"i-i don't know. i guess we just sort of fell apart." richie stuttered.

"we used to be so close, we would do everything together,"

"i-i guess i just developed feelings for you and-um i thought i would protect our friendship by just ending it."

she looked at the boy next to her. "a-are you fucking serious? that's not protecting it, that's ending it! you ended something special between us just because you had a little crush on some dumb bitch who was your best friend? did you ever just think of telling me about it?!"

"oh so now it's my fault?! you think i can control my feelings?!"

she sat up and looked down at the water, tears slowly falling down her eyes. "i loved you richie, you were my everything." she took a deep breath. "god i still fucking love you and you're still my fucking everything. but do you know how heartbroken i was? the day you decided to stop talking to me? out of nowhere?! you were the only person i could have actually talked to! until one day for no fucking reason you decided you would stop fucking talking to me!"
