Mike was always your best friend, he always loved you and you always loved him.
That was until Eleven came along, she changed everything in either a good or bad way.
I mean she changed Mikes feelings, those feelings used to be towards you but now their towards Eleven.
I mean of course Elevens is your friend but she changed the group. Once El came along Mike stopped talking to you and started to ignore you.
So you stopped hanging out with him and the boys. But you still sometimes talked to Lucas, Dustin, and Will. You just sort of backed away from Mike, scared that he'd hurt you and your feelings again.
Once Eleven was gone, Mike was starting to talk to you again, like you were some kind of toy. You tried your best to get away from him but it was hard. He one day even promised you that he would take you to the snowball, in which you agreed and believed. Which you shouldn't have.

You looked in the mirror, fixing your hair and makeup, waiting for him.
5 minutes pass by.
10 minutes.
15 minutes.
Finally 60 minutes pass by.
And still nothing.
You believed it was nothing so you walked instead, I mean schools only 5 minutes away.
You looked at the front door and walked in.
You walked towards the gym and opened the door.
You looked around trying to find him or someone you knew, you finally spotted him, with Eleven. Kissing.
Your heart shattered, again.

It was a mistake. You felt like it was your fault, which it sort of was..
You should have remembered that day in which you walked in on Mike and El talking, him promising her that he would take her to the snowball. The same thing he promised you.
