“I’m sorry Jocelyn…. I don’t think we can be together. I don’t think this will work out. Our music sales have gone down by 14% as well as the Austin and Ally views which have gone down by a good 28%. My manager won’t let me go through with dating you and suggests that I should date one of my co-stars. He left me the option to choose between Maia and Laura. I know this is hard to swallow but after I discussed it with the rest of the band and cast of Austin and Ally… I think it would be best if we didn't see each other anymore.” Ross said.
Jocelyn sat there in Ross’ Dodge Challenger staring at the floor. Everything she had feared had cone true. The fans did come first. The fame came first. Everything came before her. This is what she had expected but had the slightest bit of hope that it wouldn’t come down to this. But it did. And now I don’t have a choice. Ross has made up his mind and theres nothing I can do….
WHAM! Somebody jumped onto Jocelyn’s bed pulling her from her nightmare yelling at the top of their lungs “HAPPY BIRTHDAY GET UP, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GET UP, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOCELYN-GET-OUT-OF-BED, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GET UP!” Ross yelled to the tune of ‘Happy Birthday’ as he jumped on her bed
“Ross” Jocelyn groaned “Get off”
He laughed and jumped right beside her “GET UP!! We have a busy day today”
“Come on Ross, Can’t I just sleep in on my 16th Birthday!” She groaned and rolled over, covering her head with a pillow.
Ross smirked and started to tickled her sides, causing Jocelyn to react immediately and flip over laughing “No! No! Please! Oh god, stop I’m going to pee myself!!” She cried and rolled over again, pulling Ross down onto the bed and climbing on top of him, straddling him.
“Well, hello there” Ross smirked
Jocelyn rolled her eyes and nuzzled her head into the crook of Ross’ neck, giving him a gentle kiss. “Hey there” She whispered softly and closed her eyes, wanting to fall back asleep to the steady beat of Ross’ heart and the slow rise and fall of his chest “Can we lay here for a bit?” She asked sweetly
Ross laid one of his arms across Jocelyn’s back “Of corse babe. It is your birthday” He chuckled. Jocelyn smiled and nuzzled her face deeper into the crook of his neck
“So what are the plans for today? Since you oh so thoughtfully planed out what to do on MY birthday.” She said slightly annoyed even though it was touching that he went through all that trouble to try and make the most out of her16th birthday.
“It’s a secret.”He stated plainly, not hinting at anything.
“Not even a hint?” She pouted
“Nope”
“Nothing?”
“Nothing.”
Jocelyn frowned and got up and off the bed, irritated by Ross’ sudden shadiness
“Wait, babe where are you going?” He whined
“To go take a shower” She said plainly
“Can I come?” He grinned mischievously
“Nope.” She said, giving Ross some payback for not telling her.
“But Jocelyn” He whined
