Jocelyn's POV
After we stopped at the apartment and I grabbed my stuff we set off to the Lynch's,
“So here's my house” She said as we pulled into her driveway.
I was in awe. The house was beautiful! White and 3 stories high, had beautiful landscaping, the garage had one big door and was big enough to hold a van and Riker's car.
“Wow nice place” I said examining the house.
She smiled “Thanks. Let me give you a tour”
I nodded and got out of her car, my eyes never once leaving the house.
We went through the yard walking on a stone path up to the double front doors which I’ve only seen on R5TV. She opened the door and we walked into an opening. To the left there was a big open doorway that led to some room.
“So to the left is our music storage room. Through that at the other side” She points towards the open doorway at the other end of the room. “Is the living room.”
We passed the music storage room door way where I peeked inside. There was a keyboard, 3 acoustic guitars, and a few microphone stands, drum set, and some lights which I guess they use for shows.
We walked pasted another hallway to the right which apparently leads to the garage.
“So the big hallway to the left leads to the kitchen and other places which you'll see soon, and to the right is the staircase to the upstairs.” Rydel said as she walked towards the kitchen.
As I followed I looked at the beautiful decor. Stormie had really great taste.
In the kitchen it was beautiful and exactly as I pictured. An island in the middle with pristine white counters, white fridge and stainless steel gas stove, Kurig in the corner, white counters and cabinets. At the far side of the kitchen is a long, rectangular, dark wooden table with 8 chairs and a hanging light above it.
“Hi Jocelyn!” Stormie said as she walked into the kitchen “I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies yesterday would you like one?”
Oh boy. The question I've been dreading. “Um, no thanks. I actually have Celiac Disease.” Seeing the confusion on her face I decided to go on. “I can't eat wheat, gluten, rye, malt, barley, and oats...... Basically a Gluten-Free diet.” I said shyly looking down at my feet.
“Oh my I had no idea!” She exclaimed
“You don't need to worry about it. It's my fault I forgot to grab some food before I left the apartment” I apologized.
“No need to worry, how about I take you and Rydel grocery shopping? We are running low on food. You know, life with 4 boys.” She sighs.
“I don't want to inconvenience you though. I can always pick around and see what I can eat.” I said with a smile.
Stormie let out a little laugh. “I'm afraid we don't have much food at all. I live in a house with 5 boys, food never lasts too long. I'm heading to the store in an hour and I'm taking you and Rydel.” And with that she left the room.
“Well that solves that.” Rydel laughed.
She walked through the kitchen and into another wide hallway motioning me to follow. As I did I saw that the wall seemed to turn into little gaps. Separating each gap was a small block of wall, leading up to an opening. There was the living room. It was pretty darn big
“So this is the living room. This at one point was where we played guitar and keyboard, like our practice room. The basement was the living room at the time but mom started complaining so we switched for a smaller living room and a bigger practice room.” she explained.
