We had an assembly today. It was sudden, which was expected since this is spy school. Even though the assembly was surprising, however, it wasn't as surprising as the news we got. It was silent at first. Then, altogether, we yelled "SUMMER VACATION?!"
Erica, like always, was reading a book. She looked up and said "Why a vacation? Is this a trap?" The principle shook his head.
"No, it's not a trap. You get to go home and hang out with your families for the whole summer."
I don't know why, but even though the principle was an idiot, I believed him. I was so excited! When we were dismissed, I immediately ran to my dorm. I started packing as fast as I could. Half of the time, I glanced at the door, expecting to see a note of any kind. A note saying "Ben, there's a mission" or "Ben, you can't go on vacation because you blew up my office and I hate you because of it", but there was nothing. It confused me, but I was glad. I could finally stay home and relax, unless I got activated during vacation. I was just relieved to go home, but I never expected what happened right after I opened my door.
