As we flew on, Erica told us more about the mission.

"This mission will be known as Operation Bottlenose Dolphin," Erica explains.

"Why Bottlenose Dolphin?" Murray asks.

"Because Bottlenose Dolphins are trained in the military to help find things such as underwater mines," I reply. "Dolphins also save more lives in open water than specially trained life savers."

"Oh, that makes sense," Mike nods. "You know, since we're looking for your mom and we probably have to save h-"

Erica points a gun at him.

"Not helping," she growls.

"Yeah, sorry," Mike sighs.

I grow fearful again. Not just because of what Mike had said, but because of a question I should've asked before we took off.

"Hey guys?" I ask. "How are we supposed to know where my mom is?"

Everyone goes quiet.

"Huh," Erica says. "Yep. Should've thought of that."

"Great," I groan. "Not only is my mom in danger, but now we're on a mission to find her without even knowing where she is."

"Doesn't Cyrus know her general area?" Murray questions.

"Nope. Grandad didn't tell me anything of the sort," Erica sighs.

As if that wasn't enough torture, the plane suddenly starts to take a nosedive. We all get flung to the front of the plane.

Erica opens up the cockpit and finds that no one is even in there.

"What the heck!?" Erica exclaims.

"Did the pilots jump out?" Zoe asks.

"Just get the plane upright!" Mike yells.

Erica takes the controls. She then starts to pull on the yoke¹ of the plane.

"The plane is upright," she announces.

"Good, but where did the pilots go?" I ask.

"Maybe they were SPYDER agents?" Zoe gusses.

"AGAIN?!" Murray groans.

"Let's just land this plane safely," I sigh.

(A/N) Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter (was it short? I don't know). Don't forget to ask questions for Q & A's. Yup, that's all I got. Oh yeah, merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, and happy holidays!
