At night, I hear the floor creak. I jolt up and grab my gun, pointing it and a flashlight at the door. It was Erica. I sigh.

"Erica, what are you doing up at," I look at the clock. "Midnight." I groan.

"Shhhhhhhhhh." Erica hisses. I look at her. I fell asleep before she was finished dressing up, but now I can see that she's wearing footies with a cat on it.

"What are you doing?" I whisper. "My mom doesn't like it when I'm up late." Erica stares at me.

"Not even during the summer?" she asks, sounding shocked.

"Nope." I reply.

"Well, that's no fun." Erica huffs. Since when did Erica know what fun was? I thought that the only thing that was girly was her room.

We heard footsteps coming. My mom opens the door.

"What are you two doing up so late?" she asks.

"Uh..." I gulp.

"I heard something downstairs," Erica tells my mom. "Were you watching a movie?"

Of course Erica can hear that. She's Erica Hale.

"Uh..." my mom says. "Would you like to watch with me? I'm watching Hercules."

"The Disney one?" I ask.

"Yup."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Erica exclaims, sliding down the stairway. What's wrong with her? I sigh, deciding that I'll probably find out later. I go downstairs and follow her.
