Movie Night

When we got downstairs, my mom started the movie over. I like Hercules. It has some pretty good songs, especially "One Last Hope".

We were just watching when the song "I Won't Say I'm In Love" is about to start playing. Then  something scares me half to death. A beautiful voice starts to sing along. I know it's not my mom's voice. I know her voice. I turn to my left and see Erica singing. ERICA! I'm amazed, but too scared to stare at her. She was letting her guard down way too often to actually be Erica. Even so, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by her voice. It was like hearing an angel. I was kind of sad when the song ended. She noticed the look on my face and I immediately looked away, embarrassed. She said nothing.

I felt my face go hot. I've never known Erica could sing like that. Maybe she's been hiding her true self for a while. Maybe, just maybe, Erica trusts me enough to let her guard down and show me her true self.

When the movie ended, I still couldn't get that thought out of my head. Erica Hale, the best spy in school, letting her guard down to show me who she really was. I was so excited. I thought about this over and over again until I finally fell asleep.

(A/N) I know, I know. Erica singing might be a bit of a stretch. The thing is, that idea has been in my mind for awhile now. I think that Erica should actually sing in a book. (If she did, I'm sorry I didn't know.) Anyways, I will try to edit this often.
