Why Me?

Mia's POV:

My week has just been hella crazy, first of all, Jake said he liked me and I don't know if I should take it seriously or its just a joke or prank or something.

I don't know what to tell him, if I say no, he will feel heartbroken and if I say yes, I may not be able to commit to a relationship right now.

I'm so confused on what I should do!
My only question is that, why me out of all the girls, why me did he choose to like, the same girl who punched his face in 5th grade which gave him a bloody nose.

He had girls practically prancing all around him, waiting for him to notice them, he could have gone for them, they wore the most revealing clothes.

But no, he liked me, the girl who didn't care less about how she looked or what people thought about her. A tear rolls down my cheek.

Why me?

Girls begging to do anything, just to be with him. He had tens of girls to choose from, but he chose simple, ol' me.

It makes me feel how appreciated I am but it also makes me feel how crushed he would be if I said no.

I have really bad anxiety attacks, and this stirred it up to the point that it makes regret going to school.

But I have to, not for me, but for Jake, he was the only reason I was going to school at this point.

I finally trudge out my house and go to school, I don't talk to Max the whole ride there.

I get out, not feeling confident at all, all I can think about is Jake and... Oh shitt...
I didn't think of what I should say.

Maybe I should tell him that I will watch him for a day or so, then his attitude or whatever will determine whether I should agree or not.

Yes! That's the perfect answer. I feel a pat on my shoulder and there behold is Jake.

He looks like he was nervous, he was staring at the grass.

"Umm, hey Mia," He says.

"Hi Jake," I try to sound as cheerful as possible, but deep inside, I am glass about to shatter.

"So... about last week and what you said, do you have an answer for me yet?"

I take a deep breath, here goes nothing.

"Yes... I do,"

Hey guys, I've not posted in a while and I'm sorry about that  I've just been busy with homework and projects, anyways the suspense is getting high! Wait until the next chapter to see Isaac's reaction to all of this. Is Mia going to confess her feeling for him?
