Fool stopped in the Station just past the Waste
Land. Yep I'm in the Ohio's, you're a thinkin
how did Common get to the Ohio's. He said he never been to the Waste Land. Well I'll not
call ya a fool. Lots don't think about that little
spot you can cross into from York no hard pack.

Common stay on track man, why is I mad?
Let a person read some of this. Over educated
fool, told me  I talked strange. That made it hard ta follow. I didn't use proper grammars, somethin
about punctuation word usage. Sentence structure
lan sakes, what the Sam white hell! That got ta
do with me tellin stories. Didn't say I was a proper
writer. I am just tellin a story if I was a proper
writer, why he wouldn't of got a look see. Till
it was done now would he.

I'll proper this fool, up now keep readin folks.
Now I'm not goin to talk bad about him using
his real name. Lets call the fool um mm, Jason
yep that a work. Lan sakes I smell garlic, Beth
must be a cookin stay on track Common.

Well this Jason read the thing with out really
askin. I'll let that go, left the thing open ta where
he could see. Jason you a damn fool, you left out
here to patrol the Waste Land. You idiot you didn't
listen. You needed updates on watering holes
magnetic hazards. Wouldn't listen you fool.
You won't be making it back. Jason I may not
know that grammars stuff. I do know a true
idiot when I see one. Sad ta say it over educated Ranger, be lucky you make it a day out here.

Pa probably would smacked the stupid out him.
I can't nor won't smack him, he done headed out.
I won't be following him nope. I could still catch him before he crosses into the Waste Land.
Nope I won't be doin that nope I says I won't.
Darn it all, Beth! Beth I needs ta leave!
She shouted back horse is saddled pistol and belt
on the saddle horn! Stop that young fool now!

Well I kiss Beth, get on my horse head out. Folks
wasn't the way he put my story tellin down.
I'm Common that don't hurt non. Its not being
smart and listenin to an old feller like me.
Why that Waste Land darn near killed Norm.
One of the best damn Rangers I know. Besides
Pa probably he has to be the best.

Well I take off at gallop, thinking most start out
headin south east towards tower three. I head
that ways ridin hard fast as the horse a take me
I'll catch him get back before dark. Beth was a cookin somethin that smelled might fine.
Lan sakes my mouth is a waterin thinkin about
it. Don't know what is, only thin I know its in
the Dutch oven. On track Common.

Well I catch the fool, he is walking that horse a his.
Why ain't rode far enough to be restin it none. Ranger I says why ya walkin? No answer, Ranger
best be speaking soon. I'm a might peeved at the
moment! Station Chief he says, I'm to young to
do this. Patrol the Waste Land to darn young.
Didn't want to agree with him, well I'm Common
I do what common folk do. I agreed real hard now.

Darn straight you to darn young! Get on that blame horse! Follow me back to the tower.
Supper be ready time we gets back. I'll give

Then youngster you might just finish that patrol.
Post Commander felt you was ready. Don't know
why! You ain't ready to be on your own.
He said nothin till after supper. That was I'll sleep
in the tower. I'll get that information in the mornin.

Suit yourself I said. Beth got all huffy, said I should
talk to him nicer. Lan sakes hell no I won't. Told
Beth this one needed a strong hand get him pointed the right direction. She got that look like
Common you ain't gettin any, no time soon.
She shouted you can sleep in the stable or the tower while slammin the door shut to our room.

I slept on the floor, ya know let a sleeping dog
be. Well don't know if that one will make it
or not. Hope he does hate to here I sent him
out ta die. He got all he needed headed out.
