She arrived in Montana.
Her land. Her Home.
"Logan..." she sadly whispered.
The Circle F meant nothing to her but it was everything to the man she loved. This is his life, his world.
She stared out at the rolling terrain, everything green, beautiful grass and hills and livestock, but it seems dull and dead.
"Welcome home." Douglas said. "Expect more changes, everything changes here after you left." he slowly pushed her toward the ranch house.
She looked at Douglas and have a second thought to stepped inside the house.
"I think theres no one around." she got worried and looked around.
Douglas stood beside her and tapped her shoulder. "Thats what I'm telling you."
Anne tensed when she realized that the ranch was like being abandoned.
"Where's everybody?" she took her first stepped on the porch.
Surely the house was empty, but the ranch is well taken care off.
"The men just came here in the morning and left after they finished their job and the maids just came here every weekend. Logan don't want anyone here, he wanted to live all by himself after you left." Douglas took a deep sighed.
She struggle to keep her thoughts to what was happened in the Circle F during the time she was away. She thought everything was fine here.
"I've got to get going," Douglas said. "I hope things will be alright here, now that you're back. See you around Anne, call me if you need anything. And I'm sorry if I forcefully brought you back here." he apologically smiled at her.
"Apology accepted, to what I seen right now, I understand why you need to brought me back here. Thank you Douglas." she smiled back at him.
Douglas climbed to his red 4x4 truck, and saluted her before he totally left the ranch.
She shut down the negative thougths and continue to stepped inside the ranch house.
She tightened her grip on her shoulder bag and looked up to see Logan---emerged down on the stairs.
His face got darkened the moment he saw her, his eyes were so green they reminded her of the imported ferns in her shop. Combined with his chestnut hair and rugged looks. She noticed his thinner face and his dry lips.
"Leave!" he icily said and turned his back at her.
Anne focused her attention on him and forcefully ignored his coldness treatment and just followed him.
"Hello."Logan didn't speak and just ignored her.
She swallowed the knot in her throat and walked fast to him. "Are you sick?" she asked and carefully studied his face.
Shifting ucomfortably he thrown her a disgusted looks. "Does it matter to you if I am sick? Don't waste your time. We're done too long ago. Now, leave." his jaw twitched.
She got offended by his words, again, she felt the pain she had before she left, but when she noticed that his body was shaking, the pain she felt immediately change into worries.
"Oh my, you're sick!" she touched his forehead and it almost burned her hand. "Let me help you! Lets go to the hospital. Why are you living like this?" she asked and lead him to the nearby sofa. "Wait here!" she run toward his room to grabbed his jacket and his car key.
He tried to stopped her but she didn't listened to him and just continue to run toward his bedroom.
"Here, wear this!" she frantically said as soon she went back.
