Anne stomach twisted and squeezed as Logan slid out of the truck. He was aware of  her watching him, taking his time exiting the vehicle while she headed up the porch steps. No matter how much work awaited Anne, Hunter had to be dealt with, before Logan think of something crazy.

Hunter arrived five minutes before she had expected Logan be home for breakfast. Logan needs to meet his friend Donovan Ortega who stayed for a day in Montana for a business trip thats why he left the ranch early this morning.

Logan faced Hunter wearing his most nicest civil way as soon as he stepped in the first steps of the porch.

"Hunter, what are you doing here?" he stared directly at Hunter's eyes.

Hunter moved forward, his hand outstreched for a handshake. "I came for Anne, I got worried I can't went through to her mobile phone since the other day." then he turned to Anne. "I need to talk to you Anne."

Logan stepped back and Anne watched  his gaze narrow on Hunter with shrewd intensity.

"Hunt, you didn't need to worry, my mobile phone  just got a little problem." Anne mentally crossed her fingers that Logan would not attack Hunter.

"Anne, we really need to talk, this is a very important crucial matter. "Hunter showed a direction toward his car beside Logan's truck to where they can talk privately.

Anne stepped in before Logan could express his displeasure. "Hunt, Logan..."

"Anne, really. Do we have to discuss this on the porch---and in front of him?" Hunter took a side way glance at Logan.

Logan took a sideward glance to Anne.

"Don't mind me. I have work to do." Logan climbed the remaining porch steps, the treads creaking beneath his weight. He unlocked the door and disappeared inside.

"How rude." Hunter said.

Anne rolled her eyes. "Yes, thats normal for him."

She reluctantly held a door for her friend, wishing she could start the morning over so she could stop at the part where she and Logan were getting along and the morning was going well.

Hunter shooked his head.

"Lets talk here," he took a deep sighed and seriously stared at her and started talking. "Anne our parents met last night. And my parents told me this morning that they agreed to unite our family business by binding us. Your father has been sickly since last year and since you're not interested to your family business they want me to handle it. Do you undestand how serious is this matter?"

Anne looked up to the clear blue sky of Montana, she didn't understand why her parents came up to that crazy kind of idea.

"I can't believe this! This is insane." she tiredly sat on the nearby wood long stool. "A marriage for the sake of business merging, this is too much!"

Hunter sat beside her. "So what are we going to do about it, they're already made up their mind. We both know how hard to bend their descision if they were already made up for it."

Anne turned to face Hunter and  grabbed his hands.
"Lets try to talk to them, Hunt. Lets make them  change their mind. We both suffer if we enter in a loveless marriage, and Logan, I don't want to hurt him again. I love Logan."

"I know, and I don't want him to hates us more. He's so scary son of a bitch!" Hunter laughed.

Then suddenly they heard a mobile phone ringing toward the thick flowery bushes at the side of the house. And she recognized her personalize ringing tone of her singing You are my sunshine.
