"What do you mean proving to them?" Kong knitted his eyebrows. P' Arthit somehow giggled, either because seeing his face or for the question.

"You know, there's a reason I decided to be drunk instead of attending the meeting properly." P' Arthit said mysteriously. "I was fed up from hearing the backstabbing comments from those jealous actors."

"Huh?"

"Yeah.. you know, sometimes even when you're trying so hard to be successfully achieving your dream, there would still be people who got jealous and mocked you behind your back."

"Phi.."

"Don't get me wrong, I would be pretty much jealous as fuck if some nobody could work with a popular musician, but come on!" P' Arthit started ranting again.

"..would it kill them to shut their fucking mouth and just do their job properly?"

"Ugh.. I guess it would be better." Kong commented.

"Of course! Saying that I won't be as successful if I act! Just wait, I'll be an actor and I'll prove it to them I can be just as successful!" the older man balled his fist and promised to himself.

"..is that so?" Kong feels overwhelmed with this older person beside him. he was full of life, so self-confident, and looks like he was up to the challenge. A grin stretched on Kong's face.

"Phi?" he tried to get P' Arthit's attention.

"Hm?"

"I'm really interested in you. Do you want to be mine?" as soon as Kong asked, P' Arthit chocked on his drink and coughed crazily. Kong doesn't feel sorry though.

"You~!" P' Arthit said between his coughing fit.

"What? I just said the truth." Kong shrugged, still smiling innocently.

"Damn it. Warn a dude next time, why don't you?" P' Arthit frowned, his mouth pursed cutely.

"But I'm serious." Kong insisted.

"I'm not cheap, you know." P' Arthit finally said, with an air of superiority.

"I know." Kong then raised his hand to one of the barista. "Please put his bill to my tab." He told her.

"Bribing me now, aren't you?" P' Arthit raised one of his eyebrows in which Kong only grinned in reply.

"Excuse me." The barista Kong asked come to their seat. "I can't help but notice, but aren't you Arthit?"

"Ah.. yes."

"Right. Forgive my rudeness. But I just want to ask if you might be interested to try one of the drinks I make? It's sweet and pink, just like a pinkmilk." The barista said. Kong was sure that P' Arthit's eyes lightened up like Christmas come early. The older man nodded his head vigorously, much to the amusement of the barista. She then asked them to wait for a while before presenting them the drink, it was called "Pink Squirrel".

"Please, enjoy." The barista smiled and excused herself.

"So.. what do you think, Phi?" Kong asked again.

"Hm?" P' Arthit seems to like the drink as it's already empty. He then ordered one more before turning to face Kong again. "I told you I'm not cheap."

"State your condition." Kong said seriously. "I'll fulfilled it." he promised.

A smile emerged on P' Arthit's face as he thoughtfully sipped his Pink Squirrel. "Show your family you can pursue your dream, for starter. Maybe doing a double degree about them."

"Yeah?"

P' Arthit nodded. He sipped his drink again leisurely. "I'll tell you, but finished your double degree first."

"I'll do it." Kong said impulsively, but then he was left breathless when P' Arthit smiled seductively to him.

"Good. Want to drink this too?"

Kong was really good at handling his liquor, and just this much of alcohol shouldn't be enough to make him tipsy. But that night, it was the first time he took a little sip of Pink Squirrel, and he was already drunk.
