Chapter 3

Lauren POV

We went to see the Inbetweeners 2 movie and it was actually hilairious. I couldn't help but get butterflies every time Camila laughed, she was so adorable. I'm not sure how much longer I could hide my feelings from her.

We were walking out the cinema laughing about the film, when I noticed Kylies friend, James walking towards us. I noticed Camila tense up beside me, and Ally Dinah and Mani just looked confused.

"Hi...um Lauren, can I talk to you over there?" He asked me. What the fuck?

I followed him and everyone watched me carefully.

"I am so sorry about what Kylie did to you." He appologised. I was so confused. "Oh, uh...it's not your fault. But thanks." I smiled awkwardly. He rubbed the back of his neck, smiling.

"Look. I'm just going to come right out and say it. Iv had a crush on you Lauren from the second I saw you walk into the school. You're beautiful, so I was wondering, please go out with me?" He asked, his eyes hopeful. I felt so bad, I didn't want to go out with him. "You see I would but, uh, I mean you're really nice, but...I'm going out with someone. Sorry." I lied, hoping to let him down nicely. I turned around walking away, but he grabbed my wrist, rather tightly. I saw the girls come running over.

Camila POV

We could all clearly hear their conversation, and when that idiot asked her out, my heart started beating, as I was silently hoping she'd say no. My heart rate relaxed when I heard her tell him she was already dating someone, because I knew she was lying. She would have told me if she had a boyfriend. She started walking away and we all seen how tightly he grabbed her, I even noticed Lauren wince in pain. I knew where this was heading, James was the type of person who had to have his own way.

Me, Dinah, Ally and Normani went over.

"I know you're lying Lauren. You not really going out with anyone." He said as Lauren pulled her hand away, rubbing her wrist, which was bright red. "I'm not lying. I swear." She said.

"Fine then who is your boyfriend?" He asked smugly. "I...uh...well..." I could see she was struggling. "She doesn't have one." I said quickly. She looked at me slightly frustrated, as did Dianah, Mani an Ally. "I knew it-" but I cut him off quickly. Id probably regret this later. "Because she has a girlfriend." I said walking closer to her, taking her hand in mine, smiling at her awkward. She held onto my hand, smiling at me, and I knew she was thanking me mentally. "You two?" He asked, clearly shocked. "Yeah. Sorry James, but Camz beat you to it." She smiled apologetically to him. "I still don't believe you. Prove it." He said smugly.

How in earth were we meant to prove it?! "Make out right here, and prove it." He said looking between us. I heard Dinah choke behind us. I didn't know what to do. I was cut off out of my own thoughts by Lauren's lips on mine. I didn't know what to do, I'd never kissed anyone before. Wow, my first kiss was with Lauren Jauregui.

I felt her licking my bottom lip, so I parted my lips slightly and felt her tongue roaming my mouth. I copied her, moving my tongue against hers. She tasted so beautiful, I could literally do this all day. Our lips were attached, as they moved perfectly against eachother. Her hands were placed firmly on my shoulders, as mine were around her waist. It's like we were meant to be.

We pulled away not being able to breathe, due to lack of oxygen. I swallowed rather awkwardly, and just stood there shocked. "Wow. Okay, um I'm sorry Lauren, I didn't know you were...I'm really sorry, can we at least be friends?" He asked. Lauren smiled at him her hand still attached to mine. "Sure. And it's okay, it's just, well can you not tell anyone about us?" She asked. "Of course, well...I'll see you around Lauren." He said waving. "And sorry for hitting on your girl Camila." He said before walking away.
