Chapter 21

Elsa's P.O.V

" Elsa!!!!" I hear Merida and Anna scream.

" Elsa!! Jack is getting out his car! Hurry!!" Anna yelled

I looked in the mirror making sure I didn't look stupid. I wore a unbuttoned light blue plaid shirt with a white undershirt underneath, dark blue pants and converse. My hair well I just let it flow down one shoulder and put a light blue beanie on. He messaged me a while ago saying not to dress to fancy, which I wasn't anyways.

" ELSA! Your boyfriend is here!!! Merida yelled

I gave a big sigh, and went down stairs seeing Jack standing by the door with a bouquet of white roses. I loved roses but these.... They looked so beautiful. I felt my cheeks heat up and my hands started to tremble.

" Hey.." His eyes were pretty wide and his smiled.

" Hi.." He looked cute... He wasn't dressed to impress, his hair looked natural and wasn't all gelled up with so much spikes. He wore a navy blue hoody and brown pants and navy blue vans. He looked great.

We stared at each other for a little bit till Merida gave a cough.

" Oh um here's some flowers. I hope you don't mind..." He handed them to me and smiled

" Oh thanks... You didn't have to though..." I got the flowers and Anna grabbed it out of my hand

" I'll go ahead and put these in water." She winked and left off with Merida

" So let's get going?" He said

" Yeah let's go." I grabbed my keys from the wall and closed the door.

I looked back and saw Merida and Anna with big smiles and waving to me from the window...

" First place I want you to meet someone... I want you to get to know me better and so you know I won't be lying." He smiled and we drove off. I looked at the back seat and saw another bouquet of dandelion flowers. Who are these for?

We arrived and parked near a side walk next to a grave yard....

" Jack?" I said

" Don't be scared... I want you to meet someone." He smiled and grabbed my hand... That's when I realized that he was going to introduce me to his mom....

We walked and walked, until we stopped in front of a white head stone. It said:

" In loving memory of

Maria Sarah Overland

1922- 2011

You will forever be in our hearts"

" Elsa this is my mom... Mom this is the beautiful Elsa Arrendelle." He introduced

Just seeing this made my heart break. Me and Jack are the same, knowing that he too don't have his mom or dad.

" Hi." I said quietly and waved my hand

" Before you say anything, I know this is a weird first date this is only part of it. But I didn't want you to think I was lying when I tell you about myself." He grinned a I little

" Well I am honored to meet you." I smiled at his mom

" You're the first girl I introduced to my mom." He smiled

" Really?? You didn't introduce Rapunzel?" I was shocked

" No, I wasn't quiet comfortable introducing her. When ever I mentioned my mom she always pitied me, which I hated." he frowned

" I understand..." I said

" Oh shoot... I forgot the flowers. Wait here." I said

I sat down on the bench that was I front of the grave stone. Just sitting here made me miss visiting my parents.... I missed them period. Jacks lost his mom in the beginning of high school, I lost mine 3 months ago.

Jack came back with the flowers and a bottle of water. He threw out the old flowers from the vase and replaced it with fresh water and the dandelions.

" So ask me anything." he sat by me and smiled

" How was it like... When you lost your mom?" I asked

" Heart breaking. Felt like the world was coming to an end." He said

" It felt like I had no one anymore. I started getting into trouble, but I kept my grades up. I died my hair to this ridiculous whitish silver color which I don't regret till this day. " he chuckled

" I got into many fights, went out with a lot of girls for fun. And just partied most of my freshman and sophomore year." He grinned

" Do I regret some the things I done. Most of them. But I can't take them back." He said

" How have you been handling it?" He asked

" I cry a lot. I look at pictures and cry the whole day. When my parents died, I did self harm, no one knows except for Anna. Then I started shutting everyone out, even my sister. She was worried about me, but I kept acting like I didn't know her.." I frowned

" Then she fell "in love" with this jerk named Hans... Ugh... She thought they were made for each other that they wanted to get married on the first day they met!" I laughed and so did Jack

" Wow! Serious?!?! You can't marry someone you just met!!" He laughed

" That's what I said!" I laughed and sat quiet.

" But then she asked me if it was the right thing, and I told her no! She so mad and a cussing me that I don't know what love is anymore. I felt bad, so I left. I ran away, into the mountains where my parents own a log cabin. Not to mention It was snowing at that time. I took all the money I needed and just ran off." I looked down.

" Wow that's tough Elsa..." He grabbed my hand

" Anna almost died looking for me.. But she was fine, after that we started talking again, and then we moved here. " I smiled

I realized that I just blurted out everything I didn't want to tell anyone... And I just blurted it out to the one person I shouldn't trust just yet... But for reason when I said all of that. I felt so comfortable, it was felt nice just to let it out to someone...
