Chapter 22

Jacks P.O.V

It felt nice to have her here, for her to meet the woman I once adored. It felt even better to explain who I really am.

" So got anything else for me?" I asked

" I can't think of anything right now." She said

" Well I'm an open book." I suggested

" Why do you like me? Out of all people why me?" She shook her and in disbelief

" You're different. You're.... Not like any other girl I met. You never cared about my appearance. You treated me like the jerk I was, and I respected that." I explained

" You're not a jerk. You're just lost." She smiled

" And you are too." I smiled and touched her hand. We stared at each other for a while realizing it was getting to quiet.

" Let's go." I got up and held my hand out

" Where next Jack?" She took my hand and stood up too.

" How bout I take you the coolest bakery in L.A" I grinned

" Well let's get to it!" She smiled in joy.

I said my last goodbyes to my mom and went to the car. It was quiet for a while till I turned on music, and started singing like a maniac to make her laugh.

" Jeez Jack! Stop! You're gonna make my ears bleed." She died of laughter. I haven't seen her laugh that much at all. It made my heart thump like crazy to see her happy.

" ALLLL OF MEEE LOVESSSS ALLLLLL OF YOUUU!" I started making the ugliest sounds I could thing off. I never done this before, but it was funny to see her laugh like this. It made me happy.

" Jack! Stop!! And pay attention to the road!" She said while catching her breath.

" Say I'm a fabulous singer! And I'll stop singing." I threatened

" You're a fabulous singer." She laughed

"Thank you!" I laughed and kept driving.

We got to the bakery shop, ' Milk' it was one of my favorite places to get sweet deserts here. I love taking Emma here too, it's so hard trying to not spend so much money in her.

" Wow. I can smell the food from here." She said while unbuckling her seat belt. She was right the smell of frosting and chocolate filled the air, it was making my mouth water.

We went inside the shop and good thing the line wasn't long. They always had different selections every week. This week they has different types of macaroons, cakes, cheesecakes, chocolates, cookies, and macaroon ice cream.

I looked at Elsa who's eyes were glowing.

" Oh. My. Gosh... This place is heaven..." She said and started looking around.

" Choose anything you want." I said while I got some stuff too. I got some chocolate and salted caramel macaroons, Oreo cheesecake, and some blue sugar cookies with powdered sugar on it.

Elsa got some macaroons too, and a macaroon ice cream. Wow, she didn't get much huh? With Rapunzel she's get everything leaving me broke at the end..

" That's all you're getting?" I asked as we got in line.

" Yeah I don't want to spend all your money, plus I never had Macaroons before." She smiled How sweet.

" You never had macaroons? Didn't you live in London? I thought they sold macaroons there?" I raised an eyebrow

" They do, but I never got he chance to get one." She said

I paid for the stuff and we walked to the nearest park and sat down to eat by the lake to eat. It was already 4:30, and this date was going great! Elsa has been more open with me and I've been so open with her. It seems like she trusts me a little but more, sometimes ill hold her hand once in a while. But then I can see her blush so bad she moves her hand quickly and talks about something. It was cute.

" This Macaroon ice cream... Is amazing!." She said while talking with her mouth full.

" They are really good." I said while eating my cheese cake

" If I had a dream place, I would make a castle made out of sweets and stuff." She giggled

" That's just asking to get fat." I laughed

" I don't care. I'll be rolling around my castle happy and fat." She smiled proudly

Wow first girl I've met who didn't care about her weight. Most of the girls I went out with always ordered a salad or diet soda, or non fat ice cream... Ughhhhh.

" If you don't care about rolling around then I'll roll around with you." I laughed and so did she

" Have you ever tried chocolate covered bacon?!?!"She asked with wide eyes.

Surprisingly.. No I haven't. I love bacon and chocolate, but never tried it together.

" No I haven't." I said and she gasped in shock

" Then you have never lived life." She grabbed both of my shoulders and faced me towards her. I stood their in shock not knowing what's happening

" You will try it.... And you will like it." She said emotionless. Kinda scared me...

" Um... Ok?" I said awkwardly and then we both laughed. I never knew Elsa could be this funny. The Elsa I met was always serious and lady like.

But the real her was a food loving, funny, caring girl.

This is the girl that I have been waiting for my whole life.
