Chapter 12

Jacks P.O.V

First week of school passed, and it was a Saturday. No plans today just me and my sister.

" Jack!! I'm bored.." I heard Emma tell through my door. I walked to my door and opened it, seeing my little sister standing there.

" Well what do you wanna do today kid?" I asked, I too wanted to leave this house.

" Hmmmm.... We haven't been to the ice rink in a while!" She said excitingly

" Ice rink it is Emma. Go ahead and get ready." I told her, while messing with her hair.

" Can I bring cousin Jamie?" She asked. Her and Jamie are really close, they've always hung out since babies. I too love little Jamie, for an 11 year old he was mature and fun.

" Sure why not." She jumped in joy and left to her room. I got ready and went to my car with my little sister following. We picked up Jamie and headed to the ice rink.

" Do you guys even know how to skate? " I asked

" Kind of." They both said.

" Ok then" I laughed and messed their hair up.

We got there pretty early, maybe 11:15 a.m so it wasn't that crowded. I passed by the glass door and there were only like 3 people in the rink as of now. .

I got our skates and Jamie and Emma just started going for it. I didn't put my skates on yet. I just wanted to watch them have fun, then maybe later I'll skate. As I watched them wobble around and laughing it made me happy. I looked around the ice to see who else was there, it was a guy that made sure everything was going fine, a guy figure skater that I see a lot, and a girl I have never seen before?

She was amazing I saw her going around the rink gracefully and smoothly. She had sweat pants and a light sweater, her hair was in a side braid. Wait she looks familiar.
She moves to fast for me to even notice who it was.

I moved closer to the rink, she was coming my way, she looked at me. Elsa?!? My eyes grew wide and so did hers.

She slipped and fell and slide on her side on the ice. Ouch that looked like it hurts.I quickly out my skates on and tighten them as fast as I could, but the lifeguard got to her before I did.

" Hey Elsa! What are you doing here?!" I asked excitedly

" Weekend practice... What in the hell are you doing here?" She asked

I would say something smart like, oh I was here to see you, or I'm your new stalker, but nah I'll save it for a better situation.

" I took my little sister and cousin here. She was bugging me to do something so, we decided to go here." I smiled

" Are you sure you aren't stalking me?" She had one eyebrow up

" W-w-what?! No!" Why am I stuttering, it makes it seem like I was stealing her.

" I was kidding Jack." She laughed

" Well I didn't know you could skate so well!" I said. She looked beautiful and amazing . Just thinking about her made me blush.

" Oh yeah, I used to do small competitions back in London. But now I just do it for my own sake." She smiled and looked around the rink.

" Well you looked beautiful." Did I just say that?! Good job Jack. But you gotta keep your cool dude.

" Un thanks." She smiled and looked down. She was kind of blushing, it was so cute!!

" So-" I was gonna start a conversation until the two munchkins interrupted.

" Hey big brother!!" Emma said while Jamie followed behind her.

" Hey Emms! This is Elsa. Elsa this is Emma and my cousin Jamie." I held my hand out to introduce them.

" JACK! Is this the girl you talked to me about?!??" Crap!! I forgot I told Emma about Elsa one night.

" Oooo, Jack got a girlfriend, Jack got a girlfriends" Jamie teased

I looked at Elsa who was giggling and turning red. Oh I wish she was my girl, but not yet at least.

" Hey why don't you guys get some snacks!" I handed them 5 dollars hoping they'll take it and leave.

" Ok bye!!!." Emma skated off.

" Have fun with your giiiirlfriend." Jamie teased and skated behind Emma

I'ma get that kid later...

" Wow Jack I didn't know you talked about me." She pushed my shoulder playfully and laughed

" I wasn't talking about you like that." I blushed

" Yeah ok Jack." She continued to laugh. This is getting embarrassing .

" I was just talking about how weird and nerdy you are!" I teased

" Oh thank you! I take it as a compliment!" She said

I laughed and we started skating around.

Elsa's P.O.V

We skated around, and talked. I actually forgot of how much annoying he was. It was like I was talking to a sweet innocent guy, like he was funny, and kind. But the Jack at school was annoying and jerk-ish!But other than that I liked the sweet and nice Jack. I guess you can say he's more charming that jerk Jack.

" Hey wanna race?" He said

I like where this is going.. I love a good competition and there is no way he could beat me! I mean come on... I'm a figure skater. And he's... Well... He's just... Jack...

" Oh you are on. Ok from the rink entrance back. Two laps, who ever looses have to buy each other lunch." I said competitively.

" Oh I would love to see the perfect Elsa Arrendelle buy me lunch." He said as he put his hand out to conceal the deal. I shook his hand and we skated to the entrance of the ice rink.

" Get ready. Get set... GO!" I skated as fast as I could I was so ahead! He was like 1 foot away from me doesn't matter I was winning.

As the first lap was finished the second lap was up. Before I knew it I saw Jack right beside me. How in the world did he get up here so fast?!

I tried skating forward sliding my two feet as fast as I could, but Jack was already ahead of me. I was inches away from him, and we were almost near the entrance!

Before I knew it Jack Overland won... And I had to buy him lunch...

Well there goes my 10 dollars huh?

We stopped at the entrance, as I was breathing heavily. It was a good race, I haven't raced anyone in about a year. The adrenaline is amazing.

" So wanna go and get lunch now?" He said cockily and grinned

" Whatever... Let's go." I rolled my eyes and pushed him plug fully

" Hey guys!!" He called over to Emma and Jamie. " Elsa is buying us lunch!"

Emma and Jamie ran over.

" Really? cool!!" They yelled
They went over to the desk to return their skates, while I was packing mine up.

We all headed to Jacks car and headed to a outdoor food court.
