All Grown Up

Chapter 2

The next morning Olivia got herself ready for another funeral for her parents and she walked downstairs and rode with her brother and everyone that knew their family old firefighters and police officers nurses and doctors and Steve's friends parents came with his friends. Olivia kept her distance from everyone. Nat looked over at Steve and said "Get anything out of her." 

"Other than she needs her brother no." he said as he looked over at her. 

"She wants to drink so bad she can' stand it." Nat said 

"Oh I can tell something happened after we left Nat." he said 

After the funeral was over they all came back to the house and Olivia locked herself in her room and hid in her closet. Nat came upstairs and knocked on the door and said "Olivia open up." 

"Go away." she said 

Nat went back downstairs and said "Steve she won't come out her door is locked." 

He went upstairs and said "Olivia Juniper Rogers you open this door right now." 

Winnie went running up the stairs and said "Steve don't yell.." 

"You know what's wrong with my sister?" he said 

"Steve your sister has been through the ringer since you left. Since you all left." Winnie said 

Steve looked at her and said "What happened to my little sister Winnie?'

"When everyone else leaves me and you will talk ok." she said as she hugged him. 

That night he was sitting on the back porch all his friends including Bucky had gone back to LA to finish college and Nat came out with Winnie and she sat down and said "Steve honey I'm the only person that knows cause I was working the hospital ER still." 

Steve swallowed hard and said "Go ahead Winnie." 

"When your sister was 15 her sophomore year of high school she had her first boyfriend and he raped her and beat her Steve. She told me when her friends brought her in not to tell her parents and I overheard her tell the police that the boy told her that now that big brother and his friends were gone that she had no one to protect her. That wasn't the first time she came through the ER Steve. When she was 16 her and her friends got into a car accident after your dad died they were all drunk. She was in the passenger seat the girl driving the car died right beside her. Your sister has seen her best friend Paige the girl driving the little girl who use to play with her since she was in preschool die right before her shortly after she had to see her dad die and now she's had to do the same with her mom. I hope for your sister's sake Steve that you are staying in Brooklyn." Winnie said 

Steve wiped tears and he said "Mom never said a word to me she kept quiet." 

"Cause the only things your mom knew about was the accident and your dad. She didn't know about the rape and assault of how your sister lost her virginity in the most worst possible way." Winnie said 

"Thank you Winnie." he said 

She came over and hugged him and said "She needs you Steve..she has no one else left just you. Don't let her down." 

Winnie left and Steve's phone started to ring and it was Bucky. "Hello." Steve said

"Hey man where are you? We are all at the airport." Bucky said 

"OH um I'm not coming back neither is Nat. My sister needs me Bucky." he said 

"Steve come on she's about to graduate high school and then she's going to college she's going to be fine." Bucky said 

"Bucky please just go back to LA with them ok besides Dot and you are engaged and you left her there just go." Steve said 

"Alright man." he said as he hung up. 

Bucky looked at his friends and said "He's decided to not come back to college I guess cause he said he's not coming back to LA." 

"Oh." Sam said 

Steve and Nat got signed up at NYU and got everything transferred out to NYU from UCLA.  Steve did his best to keep alcohol away from his sister. He was able to convince her to go to a therapist he wanted her to get some help before she started college. Once she started to go to therapy she was able to open up to her brother and even though he already knew what happened to her he was happy to hear the words from her. 

Her and Nat got closer after she moved in when Steve and Nat got married. She was the only one that didn't go when Bucky and Dot got married. She wasn't on any break from school so she couldn't she didn't really want to go anyways.
