All Grown Up

Chapter 4

*2 months later*

Olivia walked into the kitchen the morning of her 25th birthday and made herself some coffee and then heard "Happy Birthday darlin." She jumped and turned to see Bucky standing there and she said "You know when my birthday is?'

"Well yeah I was here." he said 

"I know you were 5 years old when I was born.." she said

"No I mean I was here with my mom I was here playing Steve when your mom went into labor with you we stayed up stairs and played my dad wouldn't let us come down till after you were out we heard you screaming and crying. Steve didn't want to hold you but I didn't care to hold you." he said as he was leaned over the bar top. 

"Must of been the only time you liked me being around." she said as she took a sip of coffee

"Olivia that's not fair I know I wasn't nice to you growing up ok. I remember what you said the day we all showed up here when your mom passed away." he said

She finished her coffee and was about to walk out of the kitchen and he said "Um Olivia can I take you to dinner for your birthday?'

"Bucky..I don't want to go to dinner for my birthday. I hate my birthday there's a reason why you don't see pictures of my birthdays after I turned 14. I don't celebrate it anymore ok so no I don't want to go to dinner." she said then she walked out. She went into her room and took a shower while she cried. 

Steve walked into the kitchen  and Bucky said "Steve what happened to Olivia? I don't see her cheer pictures anywhere her trophies her dance trophies are all gone. I asked her to dinner for her birthday and she said she doesn't celebrate her birthday anymore." 

"A lot of crap happened after we left Bucky. In some ways I wish atleast I didn't leave my little sister." he said as he looked down. 

"What happened Steve? I know was an ass to her but she's always been like a little sister to me." Bucky said 

Steve walked out and said "She doesn't know about this photo album that I found in my dad's stuff she doesn't know that our parents know the truth about something." 

He took Bucky down to the basement so she wouldn't know and they sat down on the couch and he said "Open it up Bucky." 

Bucky saw the pictures from her rape and assault case. "Dad got her police report in the mail and mom saw her patient intake form at the ER. When she was 15 on her 15th birthday Buck Liv was raped and assaulted by her first boyfriend. She was a virgin till he took it from her she told our parents that she got into a fight. She is who found our dad dead when she got home from school a few weeks after that she was in a car accident with Paige and Paige died right in front of her. She lost the two most important people to her in a matter of weeks. Your mom told me all this cause it was her that was in the ER when she was brought in. Then eventually Olivia opened up to me after she started going to therapy. Also Buck there is something else I overheard her tell Nat the first morning you were here. She was hurt that you were flirting with her when apparently she use to have the biggest crush on you growing up and she was hurt that she lost the glasses and braces and her words were grew boobs and you suddenly noticed her now that she's all grown up." Steve said 

Bucky swallowed hard as he read the police report and said "She told the police that the guy told her that because we weren't here to protect her that he could do what he wanted." 

"Yeah it was Bradley Johns is what she said does that name ring a bell.." he said 

"Oh my god that's Brandon Johns little brother Steve..he use to pick on her more than me especially after she made the middle school cheer squad. I remember her coming home crying cause he would say such mean things to her and I said something to him once cause as much as I picked on her I didn't like anyone else doing it to her." Bucky said
