It has been a week since school started. It has always been chaotic during the first few days in school, but it has become even much more chaotic for this school year.
The members of the popular South Korea based boy group called MXM started studying in this school. No one knew the reason why, but they did. They found it weird that the popular boy group was suddenly studying at a school that's not part of the best of the best.
There were rumours saying that their company got bankrupt, but it was hard to believe as they recently just finished off their tour in South Korea and neighboring countries. There were also rumours that their company got rid of them already, or that this was some sort of reality show.
One thing was sure, though. They would be changing this school and its students drastically.
The biggest and most obvious change were the waves of students crowding around the four boys, desperately trying to get their autographs.
Bae Jinyoung sighed, watching another wave of students run towards the end of the hallway, each one holding a pen and anything that can be written on.
"Baejin, you sure you don't wanna get an autograph?" His best friend of the same age, Jaehwan, asked him.
He shook his head in response. "It's impossible. Also, I need to go study."
"It's only the second week of school, why are you studying?" His other best friend two years older than him, Jisung, asked him.
"Ask my teacher why she decided it was nice to schedule a test right away just as the school year started."
And by that, he started walking towards the stairs going up to the school's library, with his two best friends trailing behind him.
Jinyoung was a really responsible and smart student. He prioritized his academics almost more than anything. Test coming up? Just ask him for notes and he'd give you notes with complete details and precise drawings and examples in a heartbeat. Highest test scorers? It's impossible he wasn't one of those.
"Hey, you're smart, right? Teach me that," Jisung slid his book to Jinyoung's hands.
He took a look at the book, and glared at the older. "We haven't studied this yet."
"Well, it's math. I thought you were a master or something..."
"Wait." He took another look at it. "I think we've learnt all the properties, theorems, and postulates already to answer this. We just weren't taught to combine those yet. I'll just solve here and see if it's correct."
"What are you talking about?"
"Math."
He took out a pencil and started to solve at the corner of the book, searching random things on the internet at times. He finished solving it fast.
