Jinyoung woke up the next day. He remembered that he still had to send an email to Brand New Music for that week.

"Can't I have at least one day of no Daehwi?" He groaned to himself.

He took out his phone to type out an essay. It was quite longer than the previous one, but it had a similar message. He still didn't take it that seriously.

He ate breakfast after that, then studied afterwards. He wasn't really planning to do anything that day, so he was able to finish all of his homeworks and study everything he needed to.

That was how he spent the rest of the day, talking to his friends at times.

Monday passed by so fast that Jinyoung didn't even realize that it was already tuesday the next day.

He planned to eat ramen with his friends after school to ease some stress, until he remembered that he still had to go to his tuesday session with Daehwi.

He kept a straight face while walking to the room wherein their sessions were held, preferring to not show how annoyed he was that his plans didn't push through.

Jisung offered to buy him some ramen though and leave it at his house. Jinyoung told him not to as it would just get soggy, which sucks. Very much.

Daehwi was already in the room when he went inside. Which was weird as Daehwi would always arrive at least 5 minutes after him.

"Do you understand physics? I mean, the lesson right now?" He asked as soon as he saw him enter the room, not even bothering to greet him properly.

"Uh, yeah... it's my favorite."

"Your favorite? Uh, how?"

"I just like it," he replied, sitting down at the far end of the room.

"But, I don't really care. Just tell me how the fuck this shit works," he demanded, showing Jinyoung his homework which had full marks. Apparently, he just copied the answers of some smart guy in his class which was why he had full marks.

Jinyoung exhaled deeply, and hesitantly started walking towards the seat beside Daehwi.

"I'm bad at explaining, though."

"Just explain it," Daehwi demanded once again.

He explained every single detail he knew at the time to Daehwi. Even though he really liked physics, he didn't like who he was explaining it to, so his voice was kind of monotone while explaining.

"Oh, I get it," Daehwi finally said after around 100 times of explaining.

"You would be a great tutor..." Daehwi muttered softly, but Jinyoung was able to hear it.

Jinyoung was about to go back to his original seat, but Daehwi stopped him.

"My dad hasn't scolded me yet about our sessions."

Daehwi was just staring at his physics homework while saying that.

"Uh..." he wasn't sure how he was supposed to respond to that.

So...? He thought to himself.

"You've probably been telling the company nice things about this whole thing, then. I know my dad. He would definitely scold me the second he finds out that I'm not behaving well at times."

"At times only?" Jinyoung slapped his mouth harshly as he didn't mean to say that out loud.

Daehwi scoffed. "Do you think I'm such an ass like all the time?"

Yes.

"Errr, not really..."

"You're being too modest. I know how I act around people."

"Then, why do you keep on acting like that? Some of your fans are turning against you now."

Like me.

"Well, it's who I am. If they can't accept who I am, then fuck them. They're not my fans."

Jinyoung was taken aback by the sudden rise in his tone. Nevertheless, he continued asking him questions.

"What if they just want what's best for you?"

"How are they even supposed to know what's best for me? They don't know what I've been through. They don't know me like the back of their hand, only I do. So, who are they to know what's best for me?"

"I-I'm sorry. I'll just..." he looked away from Daehwi then went back to his original seat.

They didn't look at each other for the rest of the session. But, one thought dominated Jinyoung's mind that time.

What happened in his past for him to be like this?
