It's Wednesday. Which meant finally, FINALLY, it is Lee Daehwi free day! I can finally hang out with my friends and study without worrying about how to act and what to say when it comes to Daehwi. I am finally in peace.

I thought about pushing through with the ramen date I wanted to have with my two best friends later after school, so I talked to them about it on the way to school. As usual, I saw them outside my house as soon as I went out, since we always walked to school together.

"Hey, guys, are you free later? Let's eat ramen. My treat."

Jaehwan's let out a dramatic gasp, then he stopped walking and gripped my shoulders tightly. "Are you serious?!"

I nodded, looking at him weirdly.

"Oh my God, I love you," he side hugged me, as I struggled to get out of his grasp.

"Don't you have anything to do later?" Jisung asked me, ignoring Jaehwan who was being too clingy.

"Actually, I do. But I missed hanging out with my best friends..."

Jaehwan faked a gag. "Jinyoung's being sentimental, that is so cringy."

"What's wrong with it? I have feelings too."

"Not my point, sweaty," he booped my nose. And yes, he said sweaty as in swe-ti, not swee-tee.

Suddenly, the mystery of Daehwi's past popped into my mind once again.

"Guys, do you uhm... perhaps, know anything about Daehwi's past?" I asked them, fidgeting with my blazer.

"Why are you asking?" Jaehwan asked, loosening his grip on me. They both stared at me intently, curiosity shown in their eyes.

"It's just... recently, he's been acting not too Daehwi-like. I mean, it's as if the more we actually spend time together, the more I see his fragile side. But, it's very rare. And, always, it shows when something related to his past is brought up."

"So, you're curious about it?" Jisung asked me.

I nodded in reply.

"Have you considered asking Donghyun?"

"I did yesterday. He told me to wait for Daehwi himself to tell me, but I doubt he will."
