Chapter 10: History

Eclipse POV

I woke up in a bed. My head was spinning. "What happened?" I asked. Then I looked over an saw Aphmau. "Thank Irene you're okay." She said relieved. I just looked at her confused. "While we were at the library, you just passed out. Vylad and Laurence found you unconscious." Aph explained. That's right. The vision, or flashback? "Eclipse! You're awake!" Called Travis as he ran over. "You see, me, Travis and Katelyn watched over you to make sure you were alright. Vylad, Laurence, and Garroth went to check out that bracelet you had." Aph explained.

"It was a communication bracelet. It was the one that belonged to Y/n. Enki gave it to her." I said. "How did you-" I cut Katelyn off. "I know because I had a vision, or a flashback, that showed when Enki gave that bracelet to Y/n. It's also when she became a divine warrior technically." I explained. Then, Garroth, Vylad, and Laurence walked in. "Is she doing okay?" Laurence asked before he saw me sitting up. "Thank Irene." Said Garroth. The three came over to my side along with the three who were already here.

"What happened?" Garroth asked. "I saw a vision of when Enki gave Irene's sister that bracelet I had found." I answered. "I guess you must've passed out afterward." Said Laurence. I nodded. I then stood up. "So, where are we right now?" I asked. "At Travis' old house from when he lived here." Aph answered. That explains why it looks so much like a house... Vylad handed me the bracelet I found earlier. "Thanks." I said. "Did you guys find any information before I passed out?" I asked. "Well, there wasn't really much in the books we read but we did bring all the ones we could open." Answered Aphmau.

 "Alright. Maybe one of the books can tell me more about the relics and this Y/n person." I said. "We better get going back to the village. The sooner the better." I said. "Good idea. Maybe we can also have Emmalyn and Kenmur look at some of the books." Aphmau suggested. "Who's Kenmur?" I asked. "Oh yeah. You only met Emmalyn. Kenmur is Emmalyn's husband." Aph answered. "Okay." I said. I didn't even know that Emmalyn was married... We then decided that we should probably get going.

 We got on the boat and set off back to Phoenix Drop. Once we took off, I immediately grabbed some of the books and went into a quiet room to read. I grabbed one of the light purple books and looked at the title page since the titles weren't on the outside of the book. It read: 'Divine Warriors'. Maybe this book would be good. I read it within a few hours. Nothing of use to me. It said more about the divine warriors. The original 6. It said nothing about Irene having a sister. I looked at the next one, it was another purple one. 'Relics' the title read. I started reading it.

'The six relics are known to be super powerful. This is true. Each can make even a weak person one of the most powerful people in the world. This is why the divine warriors have to watch over them. Something that people don't know is why they were made. Irene originally created them to keep her sister's relic safe. Irene's sister's relic was the only one not made by Irene. Irene says that it was an accident that it even exists but her sister thinks that it was made to help the world in a similar way Irene helps villages.

We are still unsure of her relic's power or purpose. When all the 6 other relics come together are used in a ritual, the seventh and most powerful relic, the one that belongs to Irene's sister. The seventh is without a doubt more powerful than all the other 6 relics by far.' This book was helpful for some of the information I was looking for. I decided to hold off on telling the others this information. I don't want to take the risk of someone overhearing. That means my theory about what the 6 relics coming together does.

I decided to take a break from reading. I went outside and noticed the sin starting to set. I had my hood back on. I just feel more safe when I wear it. I noticed Aph and Garroth talking. I decided to go up to them and say hi. "Hello." I said. "Hey Eclipse." Aph responded. "Did ya find anything useful?" She asked. "Depends on what you'd consider useful. I found some answers to some of my questions but I'm bit quite sure exactly what YOU needed to know." I answered. "Well, I kinda wanted to know some of the same things as you." She started.

"For example, more about the seventh relic. Is your theory true about the other 6? Who EXACTLY was Y/n besides just bring Irene's sister? Stuff like that." Aph concluded. "Well, I found the answer to one of the questions. I'll tell you later." I said. "Alright then." Said Aph. "Hey Eclipse." Greeted Garroth. "Hey Garroth." I said. "I just wanted to know, how did you know which relic I had?" Garroth asked me. "Well, your brother, Zane, used to have the relic. I knew which one because I overheard a conversation he was having about the relics and he brought it up. That was the day I woke up." I answered.

"Why was he talking about something like that in public?" Garroth asked. "He wasn't. It was at his house. When I woke up that day, I was found by an O'Khasis guard. The guard brought me to see Zane to find out what the guard should do with me, a random person wandering just outside O'Khasis. It wasn't hard to hear the conversation inside." I replied. "So you've met him before?" Garroth asked. I nodded. "Unfortunately, he was one of the first people I met." I said.

Then, the boat stopped. I ran over to Travis who was steering the ship. "What happened?" I asked. "I don't know. The ship just stopped." He replied. "Hahaha." I heard the stupid laughter of a familiar pink-haired girl. I turned around to see Ivy on the ship. I'm glad I didn't say anything about what I found. I'm also glad I decided to hide the books. "Well well. Look who we have here. The relic holders, the demon, the shadow knights, the old jury of nine member and a useless little girl." Said Ivy. "A useless little girl who you can't seem to beat." I said.

Why is she here? Rather, how did she get on our boat?
