Chapter 9: Enki's Library

Before this starts, be aware that I may spell words like colour or favourite like I just spelled them instead of color or favorite because that is how I grew up learning the words. Just a small heads up. Enjoy~ 💜

Eclipse POV

We got to the cave from before. I took off my hood to prove we were real then I went to the wall and I started looking for a symbol. "So, you guys have the relic?" Katelyn asked. "Yeah." Answered Aphmau. "What's she looking for?" Laurence asked. "The door to the library." I answered. "How do you know it's at that wall?" Vylad asked. I knocked on the wall. "Because it's hollow." I answered. Then, I found a symbol. It's Enki's symbol. "I found it!" I called. Everyone came over to where I stood.

Then, Aph and Travis worked together to open the secret door using their relics. It opened to reveal a passage. I went ahead in curiosity. Everyone followed behind. It didn't take long for me to arrive at a huge library. This must be Enki's library. I found another enchanted book. This one had writing instead of a voice message. 'Only read if you need help understanding the books' it readbutI don't know what that means but I decided to move on to the books. I grabbed one of the books from the shelf.

I opened it but there were no words. "What!?" I was confused and disappointed. Why? Why couldn't I read the book? Ugh! I decided to try another one. Still nothing. I noticed others trying to read the books. They couldn't seem to be able to read the books either. Then I realized what the enchanted book was trying to tell me. It's there to help figure out how to read the books! I went back to the enchanted book. I flipped to the next page.

It read: 'Use the relic. Different relics open different books. My relic can open green books, Esmund's relic can open light blue books, Kul'Zak's relic can open red books, Shad's relic can open dark grey-blue books, Irene's relic can open light purple books, Menphia's relic opens orange books, and your relic opens the f/c books (if your favourite colour is one that was named, a different shade).' "The relics. Of course." I said to myself. "We can't read the books without the relics!" I said out loud for everyone to hear.

"The books are colour coded. Right now, we can only access the green, light blue, and light purple ones." I added. "We have three relics?" Travis asked. "Garroth has one. Esmund's relic." I answered. "Wait what?" Garroth asked confused. "I noticed it when you came to help me and Aph with Ivy. I believe I heard your brother died? That was the relic he had. When he died, it looked for someone with the same blood." I explained.
