Eclipse POV
Me and Aphmau went through the portal to Phoenix Drop. We went back through the cursed forest. This time though, we only went part way through the forest until we arrived at a house. "Hello Aphmau." Said the old lady. "Hello Hyria." Aphmau greeted. So that's Hyria. "Who's your friend?" Hyria asked. "Hello. My name is Eclipse. Pleasure to meet you Miss Hyria." I greeted. "We wanted to ask about the relics." Aphmau said. "Come on in. I'll tell you what I know." Invited Hyria.
Me and Aph followed her inside the house and we all sat down. "Is there anything you wanted to ask about specifically?" Hyria asked once we were seated. "Yes. I wanted to asked about a seventh relic. We know that having all 6 relics together will grant a great power however Eclipse says that there may be a seventh relic." Explained Aphmau. "I'm not quite sure. I was friends with Irene however she did not tell me about any other relic." Answered Hyria.
"We also wanted to ask about the Irene dimension and the relic there. Why did I get brought there when they were? Why did I have to activate the relic? Why was I able to allow someone to pass through a portal there?" I asked a lot of questions. "I'm not sure. I know why the relic had to be activated though. Irene decided that the relic should only be used if needed. The only way to activate a relic though is with another relic." Explained Hyria. "Are you a relic holder?" Hyria asked me. I shook my head.
"Then how could you possibly activate Irene's relic?" She asked. "I don't know. I was hoping perhaps you would know." I replied. "I have no idea." Said Hyria. "Is that all you wanted to know?" Hyria asked. "Yes that is." Said Aphmau. "I'm sorry I couldn't be more help to you two." Said Hyria. "It's alright." Aphmau replied. I was thinking. Why could I activate the relic? It just doesn't make sense. Me and Aph started heading back to the village. "I was really hoping to learn more." Said Aph.
"Same." I said but I was in thought, trying to think of why the relic activated when I tried activating it. "Maybe we can ask Emmalyn." I heard Aph say which snapped my out of my thoughts. "Who's Emmalyn?" I asked. "Hm? Oh. She's a friend of mine. She's also a scholar. She is obsessed with Lady Irene." Explained Aph. It makes sense why we can ask her then. When we got back to the island, we went to some kind of ruins or something. We went to a building that looked like the one in the Irene dimension.
"Emmalyn decided to live in the crypt underground. It has a quite a bit of information about Irene so she kinda just moved in." Explained Aphmau. Fair enough... I guess. Aph lead me to under the building, into the crypt she mentioned. We went to a room where I saw a blond haired girl with purple eyes and glasses. "Oh hey Aphmau!" Said Emmalyn. She looked at me, as if asking who I am. "Hi. I'm Eclipse." I greeted. "I'm Emmalyn. So why are you two here?" She asked. "We wanted to know about the relics." Said Aph.
"What about the relics do you want to know?" Emmalyn asked. "We wanted to know if there's a seventh relic. Or even, what happens when all 6 relics come together." I explained. "A seventh relic? I'm not sure. None of my books or research say anything about another relic or another divine warrior." Replied Emmalyn. "And I don't know what happens when all 6 relics come together. Sorry I couldn't be more help." Emmalyn added. "It's okay Emmalyn." Aph said. We then left.
"There's only one way to know that I can think of." Aph said as we walked back to the village. "I think I know what but how? How are we going to find all 6 relics without Tu'La finding them too? They're probably watching us you know." I said. "Good point. I don't know." She said. Next thing I know, Ivy jumped out from the trees. I know her because she's a big part of the Tu'La invasion. "Well well. If it isn't Aphmau and Eclipse. I see you finally ran away." She said. "Why are you here Ivy?" I asked in a dark tone.
"You two know each other?" Aph asked. "Little Eclipse tried to hide Lady Ro'Meave when we invaded O'Khasis. She was also a traitor. Instead of helping us, she helped you." Said Ivy. "Anyway, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. Do you happen to know where any of the other relics are?" Ivy asked. "Even if we did, why would we tell you?" I asked. "So I spare your lives of course." Said Ivy. "Go ahead. Try." I dared. She did as challenged to. She drew her weapon and tried attacking me.
I was quick to dodge the attack. I drew my diamond sword and we started fighting. She was using her stupid relic to help her. I was putting up a good fight but at this rats, it will end at a draw. And that's exactly what happened. "Haha! You still can't even beat me!" Ivy laughed. "It's not like you beat me either." I said. Ivy kept laughing at my failure to win when someone attacked her from behind. It was Garroth. "Tsk." She said then ran away through the trees. I fell to my knees. I'm out of breath from the fight.
Aph ran over to me and so did Garroth. "Wow, I never knew you could fight." Aph commented. "Yeah. I've been training for a while." I said between breaths. "I'm surprised you didn't become a guard in O'Khasis." Said Garroth. "As I said, I didn't agree with their ways. Fighting for them would be against my honor as a person." I replied. I then got up once I caught my breath. "Let's go back." I said and we continued.
Can we get the other relics without Tu'La on our tail?
