When you're five minuets into the chapter and there's no stupid comment from Millie yet. o.O WHERE IS SHEEEE

Life at The Burrow awesome. The Weasleys house practically burst with the strange and unexpected, varying all the way from talking mirrors who scolded you about scruffy clothing to howling ghouls in the attic that rattled his chains at night and howled at the moon like a wolf, and small explosions from Fred and George's room were considered normal in the house. Alyssa found Harry's bewilderment absolutely hilarious. She laughed when Mrs Weasley would fuss over the state of his clothes and tried to force him to eat four helpings every meal and he would look confused, she laughed when Mr Weasley would constantly ask Harry to sit next to him so he could fire questions at the poor boy about life with the muggles, asking how random objects such as plugs and postal service worked.

In Harry's opinion, it was fine though, and unlike last year, her laughter didn't make him embarrassed or blush, it made him grin and tease her. One thing that hadn't changed since last year was the joking and teasing on his behalf. Harry had finally discovered where Alyssa was ticklish, thanks to Jess and Millie, and was now using it as a method of annoying her.

Mr Weasley had found it extremely remarkable when Harry talked him through how to use a telephone, much to Alyssa, Millie, and Jess's amusement. The girls couldn't stop giggling at the man's confused reaction to anything that didn't require magic to work. One sunny morning about a week after they had recused Harry from the Dursleys, Harry, Ron, Alyssa, Millie, and Jess headed downstairs to breakfast to find Mr and Mrs Weasley sat at the kitchen table, along with Ginny, who, upon seeing Harry, accidentally knocked her porridge bowl to the floor with a loud clatter. Jess rolled her eyes and gagged slightly as Alyssa snorted when Millie slipped in the spilt breakfast. Ginny seemed to have a nasty habit of knocking things over whenever Harry walked into a room, something which didn't go unnoticed by the others.

"Letters from school." Mrs Weasley said, passing the five twelve year olds identical envelopes of yellowish parchment, addressed in rather cursive writing, scrawled in green ink. "Dumbledore must already know you four are here - doesn't miss a trick, that man. You've got them, too." Mrs Weasley added as Fred and George stumbled down the stairs, still in their pyjamas and rubbing sleep from their eyes. For a minuet, there was silence as they all read their letters, which told them that, like last year, they would have to catch the Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross Station at 11 on September 1st. In addition to this, however, there was also a new book list showing what they would need the following year.

Second year students will require:
The Standard Book Of Spells, Grade 2 - Miranda Goshawk
Break with a Banshee - Gilderoy Lockhart
Gadding with Ghouls - Gilderoy Lockhart
Holidays with Hags - Gilderoy Lockhart
Travels with Trolls - Gilderoy Lockhart
Voyages with Vampires - Gilderoy Lockhart
Year with the Yeti - Gilderoy Lockhart

Fred, who had finished his own list, peered over at Jess's, frowning when he saw the list of books. "You've been told to get all of Lockhart's books too!"
"Mhmm. The new Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher must be a fan. Bet it's a crazy obsessed witch." Alyssa said suggestively, wiggling her eyebrows at Millie, who laughed. "That lot won't come cheap, though. Lockhart's books are dead expensive." Jess mumbled as she bit into a piece of toast coated in marmalade. "Well, we'll manage, dear. I expect we'll be able to pick up a lot of Ginny's things second hand."

"Oh, are you staring Hogwarts this year as well?" Harry asked Ginny, making Millie facepalm and knock herself off the chair (its still a mystery how the hell she actually managed to do that). Ginny nodded and blushed to the roots of her flaming red hair, reminding everyone of Millie when she accidentally put her elbow in the butter dish. Alyssa and Jess sniggered slightly under their breaths and elbowed Harry teasingly, who blushed and glared at them. Percy then came marching down the stairs, already dressed with his Hogwarts Prefect badge pinned proudly to his knitted jumper. "Morning, all. Lovely day." He said rather briskly, as if he were reporting the weather. Millie and Alyssa were imitating him silently from behind, Jess having to jam her entire fist into her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
