Singto didn't went home after his aunt left but he spent another night in the Sangpotirats's villa. It was the second time he ignored his own bed and slept on the king sized bed in one of the guest rooms that reminded him of a five star hotelroom he would never be able to afford. It wasn't mentioned in the contract that he had to pull all nighter to take care of Krist but he just couldn't leave him alone in this condition where he was weak, vulnerable and easier to be targeted. If he really did leave him by himself in this villa filled with spies and all kind of dangers, it would mean that he gave the prey to the lions. The reason why he didn't leave although there were many guards there to ensure Krist's safety? It wasn't because he didn't trust any of his subordinates but he didn't believe in his colleague's ability. He had the feeling that it must be HIM close to Krist, his instinct telling him that there were no one comparable to his strength and protective instinct. Only he was able to make sure that nothing happened to the young boss.
He didn't know neither could explain where the overconfidence came from but after he fought against the man hitmen and saved Krist from drowning in the bathtube, he couldn't get rid of the feeling that he should stay with him. It wasn't out of sense of duty but because he couldn't otherwise. He couldn't let go of the overprotectiveness that always took over him whenever it concerned Krist, until now he never felt something like this before. Not even toward Oajuun. He worked with Jun before too. Working as a detective and trying to catch criminals, could be dangerous but he never felt this responsibility toward Jun. It could be because Jun didn't rely too much on him or simply because he didn't catch his partner's wish to protect him once. It could be that Jun always wished for him to be there for him in dangerous situation but he was too oblivious to see the desire in Jun's eyes, wishing for his boyfriend to rescue him someday. However, that day just never came till he died on duty. According to Singto, Jun could take care of himself but it was different in Krist's matter. He wanted to protect him and make sure that he was unscathed and not scared the whole time.
The whole thing Singto was trying to explain to himself, could actually be described in simple words. Instead of ceasing to beat around the bush and come to the point, he was trying to find excuses, avoiding the truth. Simple, „I'm worried about him" could suffice. This was the five words he could admit but he didn't say it neither thought about it. Maybe, he wasn't ready to admit his feelings that he felt more responsible for Krist. Surely, he needed time to accept his sense of responsibility toward him. Both of them needed time, Krist began to trust and rely on him but he had to admit first that he needed Singto and wouldn't survive without him in his life. Not because it should be Singto's duty to be there for him but he would want him to give himself fully to him, his body and his mind. However, the time would come for both of them to give in to their unkown feelings.
Singto woke up a long time ago, finished his breakfast that was a plain sandwich with many green vegetables and meat to stay fit for his body and soul. He always had to be in form since the hitmen wouldn't wait for him to regain his strength if they were ordered to attack again. Neen, the beautiful and shy maid, wanted to make a proper french breakfast but he declined the offer, telling her that he wasn't accustomated to eat such culinary and time absorbing dishes. According to himself, he didn't want to bother her much since she seemed already busy preparing breakfast for Krist so he told her that he would feel more delighted if she made him a simple sandwich that he was accustomated to.
After wearing the light blue smoking, he went in Krist's room. He didn't want anyone to eavesdrop at their conversation so he sent the guards at the door away for first. He went to the window to see if there were anyone hiding in the bushes waiting for ambushes. Krist was laying on the clean white bed, he moved in his sleep whereupon the white blanket covering his body, slipped down to his stomach. The three last bottom buttons of the oversized shirt he wore, were undone. His shirt became loose, his perfectly round shaped bellybutton exposed to the taller man. His smooth, silky skin almost transparent in the white pajama he wore, apparantly the skin on his whole body was flawless and porcelain like. The whiteness in the room suited his appearance, maybe it was the reason why he prefered white so much. His room literally was white, the walls, the furnitures and the curtains. Even the woods used for his bed and the bedcovers were all pure white. The only coloured things in the bedroom were Krist's clothes and him, his bodyguard Singto Prachaya. Because he was slightly toned than Krist, he could be seen as the only colour in his life.
