Peach Scone(Lip Gallagher)

Chapter one

I sat on the stairs of the Gallagher house, waiting for my best friend Ian and his siblings to get back from school. I sighed and took another drag off my cigarette. I see them walking towards the house in the distance and stand up. Everyone thinks me and Lip, Ian's oldest brother, have a thing going on, but in reality, I'm just seen as a "sister" to him.
"Hey Sky" Ian says as he approaches me
"Hey guys" I say as Debbie runs up to me and hugs me.
"How was school Debs?"
"It sucked, like usual"
"Well just a few more days and it's summer! We can swim all we want when we get the pool set up!" I said, smiling at the small red head.
"You're right!" She said, plowing past me and walking into the house.
"How was school Carl?"
"Great I got to blow shit up in science!"
"Great" I said, concern on my face. But I wasn't surprised that it was his favorite part of school.
"You gonna ask me how my day was?" Lip remarks
"Only if you want me to"
"I'm not a little kid" he barks, pushing past me
"Hey Ian"
"Hi Sky"
"What's bothering you?"
"Mickey... Escaped. I found out last night."
"Oh my god" is all I could say
I wrap my arms around my best friend as he cries. His life was getting better, he doesn't need Mickey to come in and ruin it, not again
"Let's go lay down okay?" I say, guiding him inside
"What's wrong with him" Lip asks, taking a drink of his beer.
"Nothing" I snarl back.
I guide Ian up the stairs and to his bed, where he passes out. I move the hair out of his eyes and walk down stairs
"Would it kill you to be nice to me for once?" Lip asks
"I don't know, it just might" I say, taking the beer from him and taking a drink before handing it back.
"You're a character, Holland"
"Thanks?" I say
Just then, Fiona walks through the door
"Great Sky you're here. Can you help me and Lip set the pool up?"
"Sure." I say
We walk outside and start putting water in it.
"Good as new" she says, putting tape over a hole that Carl creates last summer.
"It's ready to be swam in." She says
"Go get Debs and Carl, Ian is sleeping. I'll go home and get my bathing suit"
"Alright, we'll be here when you get back"

My house was just right next to them, on the opposite side, not where V lived. I grabbed my black and white bathing suit and put it on with a coverup and walked back to their back yard.
"I'm back! Ian you're up!" I say, glad to see my best friend
"Yeah yeah now get in."
I take my coverup off and see Lip bitting his lip and staring at me.
I flip him off and get in the pool.
I catch Lip staring at me a lot. I decide to go inside and change.
Lip follows
"Hey what's wrong?" He asks
"Nothing" I say
I want to tell him how I feel. But I'm nothing more than a sister to him
"I've known you my whole life. What's wrong?"
"Why do you care, Gallagher."
"Because I care about you."
He says, stepping closer to me
"Whatever" I say

The next day, I walk upstairs to find Ian, when I hear Lip talking to Fiona.
"I love the thought of being with her, Fi. I just really hope she doesn't get hurt"
"Then don't hurt her. Sky is different. She's not like other girls. Her family is like ours. She understands. She's not gonna be another Karen or Mandy. I can promise that"
I smile and walk to Ian's room
"Hey Sky"
"Hey Ian"
"What do you wanna do today?"
"Go to the railroad tracks?"
"I actually have to visit someone."
"Mickey?"
"Maybe"
"Ian Clayton Gallagher!"
"What? It's not my fault you have these feelings you won't admit, not even unto yourself, but I don't have that problem, and I know what I want. Now if you excuse me, I gotta go"
My jaw is on the floor. I can't believe he said that to me.
