Peach Scone(Lip Gallagher)

Chapter 9

Lip came home two weeks ago. I started living with them instead of on campus so I can keep an eye on him. I started taking online classes, only going onto campus for choir and to see my vocal coach.

I hear the regular rustling downstairs and turn so I'm laying on my back. I look to my left and see Lip, still fast asleep. I sigh and get up, my feet hitting the cold wood flooring.
"Stay" Lip whispers
"I gotta be at campus by 11 and it's 9:30" I say, getting a change of clothes and going to the bathroom.
The bathroom door opens and a pair of arms are wrapped around my waist. Lip places his head on my shoulder.
"Do you really have to go?"
"Yes baby" I say
I turn so I'm facing him.
"It'll just be for 2 hours. I'll be back before you know it. Ian will be here to keep an eye on you, okay?"
"Okay. I'll miss you"
"I'll miss you too." I say, placing a quick kiss to his lips and walking to the L.

Little did I know, Lip was cheating on me with his professor. And he wouldn't be staying at home with Ian either.

Two hours came and went, and before I knew it I was on my way back home.

I walked in the house and found everyone but Lip.
"Where'd Lip go?" I ask Ian
"Said he had some kinda back to school meeting with his professor"
Just then, Lip walked in the house and went to our room.
I followed him and smelled Victoria Secret perfume. I know it's not mine, I get mine from Rue 21.
"Why do you smell like perfume?"
"My professor sprayed it when I was in her room"
"That's very interesting, now tell me why you really smell like it"
He didn't say anything but a look of guilt washed over his face
"Did-did you cheat on me.." I say, in barely a whisper
When he didn't say anything, I knew
"Are you fucking kidding me Lip?"
"Look I'm sorry okay."
"You're sorry? That doesn't do a bit of fucking good"
"Can we talk about this?"
By now, everyone was crowed in the shower listening to our conversation.
Kinda like that episode of friends.
"Okay, how was she."
"What?"
"You wanted to talk about it so we're talking about it. How was she?"
"She-She was different"
I glare at him
"No one likes change." He says
I throw the closest thing to me, which happened to be a lamp, at his head. He ducked and it hit the wall.
"Sky calm down"
"Calm down? You really want to me calm down?"
"Yes please"
"Well you shoulda thought about that before you went and fucked up, literally" i snark back at him
"It was mistake. It only happened 3 times"
"THREE TIMES" by now, I'm full on screaming.
"I moved off campus for you. I started taking online classes for you. I went to visit you almost everyday in rehab and this is how you repay me?"
He leans in to kiss me and I almost kiss back
"No. No Lip. You can't kiss me and expect everything to be okay."
He looks at the ground.
"I just don't want this to be the end. The end of us."
"Well it is."
"I can't imagine waking up and you not being next to me. I can't imagine waking up and you not kissing me."
"You really should've thought about that"
I glance at the clock and it's 2:30 in the morning
"I'm going to Kev and V's"
I grab a bag and shove some clothes in it and wrap myself in a throw blanket and slip on my slippers and walk next door
"Sky? It's 2:39 in the morning" Kev says
"Can I stay here?" I say, tears flowing down my face
"What happened" V asks
By now, Fiona, Ian, Kev and V are all in the living room at Kev's
Next door we can hear things being broken and Lip yelling
"He-He cheated on me" I say
Kev instantly gets up to go beat Lip's ass, and V pulls him down.
"With who?" Fiona asks
"His fucking professor"
"I feel like this is my fault. If I wouldn't have let him leave toda-" Ian starts
"It's not your fault your brothers a dick" I say
I place my hand on his leg in a friendly manner
"You has no clue he was cheating. I don't blame you. I blame Lip and his professor"
Everyone then goes to bed and I wrap myself in the blankets.

3 days have passed and I haven't moved. I'm just laying down facing the wall with a window, that looks directly into my old room. Lip hasn't moved either. He's facing the opposite direction, probably because he doesn't want to see me.

I hear a knock on my door and Fiona walks in
"Hey Sky." She whispers, pushing me hair back
"I know Lip fucked up. I know. And I know it seems like it's not going to get better but it will. You can leave the south side and make something of yourself." She says
I nod and thank her, and she leaves and is replaced with Ian's presence
He lays down next to me and wraps his arms around me.
I turn so I'm facing him and let out all the tears I've been holding in.
"If he wasn't my brother I'd beat his ass" he says
I giggle.
"Hell, I still might"
"He's not worth going to jail over." I say
I look out the window and see Lip, getting dressed
"I swear if he comes over it's not going to be pretty" I hear Kev say from the door way
"We need to talk about it without fighting" I say
"Okay, you're right I guess" he says
He walks away and I sit up.
I hear a knock and hear feet shuffling
I see Lip emerge from the hallway
"I'll get going" Ian says, placing a kiss to my forehead.
"Mick said he'd see you tomorrow" He adds
"Alright, I miss him"
He walks out and his spot is replaced with Lip.
"Skylar we need to talk"
"I know" I say, sitting up.
"I messed up. I messed up big time. I shouldn't have done that to you. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me"
"It'll take me time. A lot of time" I reply
"That's fine. I just cannot picture my life without you in it. As my girlfriend or just a friend" he says
I don't say anything and he leaves

3 weeks have passed and I'm late. I didn't think much of it at first because periods can be messed up sometimes, but now I'm really worried.
I left the house for the first time since it all happened and went to a store to grab a pregnancy test.
I go back to Kev and V's and see everyone in the living room
"You ok Sky?" Fiona asks
"Yeah just, just gotta use the restroom"
I run to the bathroom and take the test
"Please no please no please no" I keep repeating until the times up
"DAMNIT" I yell
I start crying as Fiona, V and Debbie walk in
"Are you..." Debs starts to ask
I nod and start crying more
"Is it.." Fiona asks
"Yes" I say quietly
"I'll go outside and make you a doctors appointment" V says
I thank her as they walk out.
I take a deep breath and walk downstairs
"Hey Sky, wanna a beer?" Ian asks
"Ye- um no, no thanks I'm good"
"Skylar Holland turning down a beer?" Kev asks
"I don't feel good today." I lie
"Sky I need to talk to you" V says
I nod and follow her to my room
"Your appointment is tomorrow at 9 am. You need to tell Lip."
"I will after the appointment. Please don't tell anyone." I say
"I won't, I promise."

9 am rolls around and V drives me to the doctor.
I nervously wait in the waiting room with V, my foot tapping.
"Hey, calm down. It'll be okay" she reassures me
I nod and they call my name
"Skylar Holland?"
I stand up and walk back in the room with the feet walls and sit on the chair.
"So, What brings you in today?"
"I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant" I say
"Do you know the father?"
I nod
"Will he be at the next appointments?"
"I-I don't know. He doesn't even know I'm here. I-i kinda found out after we took a break" I reply
She nods and runs a few tests, and lets me go.
I walk out to V, who's watching whatever they having playing on the Tv
"Go alright?"
"Yeah, But now I have to tell Lip"
"I know. Me and Fi will be there the whole time"
I nod, thanking her as we approach the Gallagher house
All the siblings are in the living room, watching Tv
"Hey Lip.. can I uh talk to you?" I ask, my voice shaking
"Yeah of course"
He leads me to our old room, which has holes in the walls from where he's repeatedly punched them
"I don't know how to tell you this but.. I took a test yesterday."
"Okay..."
"Lip, I'm pregnant" I blurt out
His face drops
"Get out"
"Wh-What?"
"Get.out"
I run down the stairs, tears rolling down my face
I stand outside the window and yell at the top of my lungs
"FUCK YOU, PHILLIP GALLAGHER"
