I immediately jump up and grab throw on some shoes and my shirt and rush to the car. I was already out of my complex when I realized that Janessa was still at my house. Then again, she's probably knocked out from the alcohol so I won't worry her about this. I make my way to the hospital and damn near ran to the emergency room door. I went up to the lady and she looked at me like I was crazy. "Hi my brother in law was just brought in here. His name is Warren," I told her and she typed on her computer. "Security will be here in a minute to escort you to the back," she said and I nodded waiting. I'm surprised that they would even let me back without knowing his last name. Security came shortly after and we headed to the elevators. I was taken to a surgical lounge and saw Brian standing there with blood on his shirt and tears in his eyes. "B," I called out and he looked up. He got up and hugged me. "What the hell happened?" I asked confused as to why blood was on his shirt. "It was a dirty cop. He shot Warren right next to me and held a gun to my head. My entire life flashed before my eyes. I didn't know what the fuck was going on. It all just happened so fast," he was shaking. "Hey, calm down. I'm sure he'll be fine. The main thing is that you're ok," I said releasing him. Then a group of people walked in. "Brian?" a girl who was with them asked pointing at Brian and he nodded. "Oh my are you ok? What happened?" she asked and I was confused at who she was. "Yea. I don't know about him though," he said and she placed a hand on her forehead. "I'm so sorry for any trouble or pain my brother has caused," she was his brother. "This is our brother and his best friends," she said introducing the rest of the group. Now if I thought Warren was a trapper earlier I knew he was one now.

There were two niggas and three girls along with his siblings. "Who are you?" one of the girls said stepping to Brian. Attitude was in every crevice of her voice. "Just a friend. Why does it matter?" Brian was starting to get defensive. "Mhmmm, and where was y'all at?" he said eyeing Brian who had that look in his eyes. "Aye Keys calm all that down," one of the niggas said pulling her back. "Somewhere you weren't. Is there a problem?" Brian asked and I walked closer to him. "Nah just stay away from my nigga," she said trying to lunge past the man holding her back. I quickly stepped in front of Brian as he started to run up on the girl. There was a lot of commotion and security came warning us to keep it down or they'd kick all of us out. But that confirmed my suspicions. He's a trade. I should have known though because that's Brian's type. "Hey sorry for Sherri. Warren recently came out and broke up with her and it was all messy," one of the girls came over and sat down next to us. I was taken aback though because the sound of her voice didn't match her appearance at all. She looked like she had a deep rich voice. The kind that makes you lowkey wet but you try to hide it. "It's fine I knew what the deal was when we started seeing each other," Brian said.

A couple hours passed by along with dirty looks from this Sherri before the doctor finally came out. "Family of Warren Lamont?" We all stood up. "Ok the bullet was removed and he's fine. He actually woke up earlier than anticipated but he's asking only to see a Brian James," the doctor said and we all looked at him crazy. "What?" Sherri yelled in the doctor's face. "That's all he wants to see right now. He said the rest of you all can come back tomorrow to see him," the doctor said and lead Brian away. The rest of them left leaving me by myself. I could hear Sherri yelling and screaming from all the way down the hall. I sat in silence and looked at my phone. It's 4:30 A.M. but I don't feel tired. Crazy right? A couple of minutes later Brian came back with a shocked look on his face. "B! What's wrong?" I stood up. "Apparently I have a boyfriend now?" he said confused and I was just as shocked. "What do you mean?" I asked and he sighed. "He just told me that he felt something different from me. That I emitted a different kind of energy and that I'm not going anywhere. Is it wrong that it kinda made me horny?" he asked and I chuckled to myself. "So, Brian James is officially tied down?" I asked and he nodded looking at the floor.
