When Might And Magic Meet

We Get Our Sticks (sorry wands)

My gods I'm sooooooooo sorry that it took me so long to update I've been really busy because my friends wanted to do stuff for halloween... by the way HAPPY HALLOWEEN ... but anyways I'll try to do better here's yer chapter.

Percy POV

Once we got to Ollivanders a nice looking older woman piped up from behind the counter. Behind me I heard Harry murmur "I forgot he died."

Apparently this Ollivander died and now this woman replaced him. "Hello I assume your all here to get wands but... aren't you a bit old?"

"Our wands all broke or got stolen due to... past events and we didn't have time to get new ones yet." Hermione said. The women gave a nod "Ahh I see. Well let's get you all some wands. By the way my name is Rebecca. So who wants to go first?"

I went first, then Piper, Leo, Hazel, Jason, Frank, Calypso, Thalia, Will, Annabeth, and finally Nico. After we got our wands Harry, Ron, and Hermione got there wands (in that order.)

I'm to lazy to write down the process so here what they got along with how much time it took to find

Percy: Mangrove wood, owl feather and tooth of charybdis 15 inches, very flexible and very rare. Took 4 minutes to find.

Piper: Apple tree wood, feather of a dove and eagle, 10 inches, slightly stiff, very rare. Took 7 minutes to find.

Leo: Birch Wood, Moonlace and phoenix feather, 9 inches, flexible, very rare. Took 5 minutes to find

Hazel: Alder wood, gemstone chard and phoenix feather, 10 inches, stiff, very rare. Took 4 minutes to find.

Jason: Pinetree, eagle feather and a fragment of lightning, 13 inches, very stiff, super rare. Took 5 minutes to find.

Frank: Maple wood, phoenix feather and a griffin feather, 10 inches, neither more stiff or flexible, very rare. Took 4 minutes to find.

Calypso: Ash wood, Moonlace and a bit of pure magic, 14 inches, very flexible, super rare. Took 2 minutes to find.

Thalia: Pine wood, a star and a piece silver, 9 inches, slightly flexible, super rare. Took 3 minutes to find.

Will: Laurel wood, pure sunlight screech owl feather, 11 inches, highly flexible, very rare. Took 4 minutes to find.

Annabeth: Olive wood, owl feather and a hair off Arion, 16 inches, equal amount of stiffness and flexibility. Took 7 minutes to find.

Nico: Cypress wood,  pure darkness and screech owl feather, 10 inches, stiff. Took 5 minutes to find.

And well just say that the wizards had something super rare happen and got wands with all the same tributes as there old ones but from like same type of tree but different from the one there old one came from same with the course except I want them to have to so here are the second cores.

Harry: Griffin feather
Hermione: Owl feather
Ron: Eagle feather

I'm not trying to make anybody seem more important than anyone else with what they got ok

PERCY POV

Apparently we all got super rare wands or that's what the wizards are saying when we left the store after about 50 minutes of being waiting for every one to get there wands we left and Ron immediately said "Wow you guys all got super rare wands most wands only have one core."

"You guys all got to cores also all of us got two cores in ours so how rare can they be?" Annabeth pointed out.

"That is a fair point but I read in 'Wands of the Wizards' that only 5% of wands have double cores."

"Wow" We all said including Ron and Harry. "I knew that double cores were rare but I didn't know they were that rare. The must be really powerful" Ron continued.

"Well of course the elder wand is still the most powerful wand ever plus the rarity of wand doesn't define how powerful it is, sure most powerful wands are rare ones but there has been some very powerful common wands to." Hermione answered.
