Percy POV
"Hey Annabeth" I walked into the kitchens after getting back from my quest.
"One sec Percy I need to finnish with making lunch for- PERCY!" Annabeth ran over and wrapped her arms around me "Your back how did the quest go?"
*3 weeks earlier*
"Are you sure this is the place Hectate said to go?" Harry asked for the thousands time.
"Yes I'm sure you saw the sign when we came into the park right. What do you expect the staff to just jump at us it's probably gonna be hidden and might have mist."
"Just keep looking this is a big place Ok guys." Leo was the sensible one for once. "Hey I heard that"
"Wait did I say that out loud" I clamped a hand over my mouth.
"Yes you said that out loud who'd you think I was talking to Percy, the tree?" Leo retorted his voice full of sass.
"Well for how ADHD you are I would be surprised" I replied with even more sass.
"You wanna go" Leo sassed back.
"Square up" and then we did our secret handshake that has so much sass it's dangerous for mortal eyes so good thing Harry is a wizard.
"GUYS stop sassing eachother and come here I found something." Harry shouted from by the water. Leo and I walked over and pared into the water.
"That's not a staff probably some other magical glowy thing that some poor soul will have to fetch for a god in later years to come so best to leave so we don't confuse the poor soul by moving it from wear it's supposed to be or get accused of stealing it by moving it." Leo and I said at the same time.
"H- how did you do that" Harry looked between us. Me and Leo wiggled our fingers and said maaaaagic.
"Now chop chop keep looking" I said in my best old lady teacher voice before searching the trees and then I saw it.... a Wendy's. "Guys food first then staff I'm hungry and I want burger, fries and a milkshake."
After getting our order Leo, Harry and I sat down at a table and that's when a magical staff thought it would be a good idea to inbed itself in my head, luckily my reflexes did not agree and I found Hectate's staff we where looking for. "Hey guys the staff"
"No shit it kinda tried to pierce you skull" Leo deadpanned. "Now let's eat and head back to our not quite certain deaths!"
"Sounds like a plan" Harry chimed in. I was to busy eating to answer of course.
*back to present*
"It was good we had a fun time and lots of sass bit that's to be expected you can't have a quest (or life) without sass now can you." Annabeth laughed and gave me a kiss.
"Now how did it really go." Annabeth questioned raising an eyebrow.
"Ok well we did have fun and there was sass but..." I explained the whole quest to Annabeth while helping her with lunch.
