"P'Forth"

Forth halted on his steps and turned back.

"Yes, N'Kongpob?"

Out of habit, Kong had stopped forth again at the school gates. Very sure of something to be out of place, but upon closer inspection, nothing in his uniform was wrong.

Forth smirked in victory, turned around to leave.

But was stopped again.

"What?"

"Atleast tie you shoelaces P'Forth", Kong said and knelt down to tie it for him.

Forth blinked, and Kong blinked.

He mentally cursed himself at his actions. Just what possessed him to do something like this. And what must it be looking like to others.

"Done", Kong slowly got up, and refused to meet Forth's eyes.

But something told to look up, and he was glad he did. Because Forth looked so, so....

With a light pink colour dusted on his cheeks, a quick glance to Kong, forth cleared his throat and muttered," thank you"

Then fled.

It was lunch time. And clutching his plate, he was making his way towards Forth's table.

His justification, Forth did asked him to come again.

But the thing was, he was feeling a little awkward after the morning's incident.

Act naturally, he chanted inside his mind as he approached them.

"Hi", he smiled charmingly.

"Can I sit here"

"Oh Kong, you came?"

"I shouldn't?", Kong's face fell. Was he barging in?

"No, I was gonna ask you to come after school. But if you are here, then ok. Sit", Forth said.

Hesitatingly, Kong sat down and began eating. But this time,he came prepared. He tried participating in their conversations.

And while talking, he didn't paid attention to what he ate that time and mistakenly ingested a piece of chilli.

He tried keeping it in, but still coughed a bit. He quickly grasped for his drink, but he had finished it already.

Just as he was about to get up to get a new one. A cool drink was handed to him.

Huh?

He looked up.

It was from Forth.

Kong gratefully took it and had multiple sips. And smiled.

Forth smiled in return.

And Kong felt, something about Forth changed at that moment. What was it?

Kong made his way to the parking lot, and saw forth and his gang waiting for him.

When he came nearer, he scrunched his nose. The smell of cigarettes was heavy on air. They all have smoked before he came.

He looked at Forth disapprovingly, just why does he do that.

"Come on. Hurry up", forth motioned him to sit behind him, handing him a helmet.

Kong reluctantly sat behind him. Just how in the world, his classmates curiosity got him hanging out with forth and his friends.

He cursed inwardly as he tightly clutched forth as they zoomed out in the road.

But being in this close proximity made Kong inhale his smell too. Just pure forth, no smoke, no alcohol, only forth. And he smelled very homely and comforting.

And he liked it so much that he burrowed his nose on his neck, only to realise it later, when Forth tilted his head to the side a little.

Oh no!! He was caught. He quickly withdrew.

Act naturally, act naturally, Kong chanted to his embarrassed mind, as they reached a beach spot.

At a time when he would be studying, he was now in a beach. That thought made him sulk a little.

But surprisingly, Forth's friends were very funny, and tried their best to keep him entertained.

After an hour when they prepared to leave, Kong exclaimed, "already?"

At that forth had smiled and answered," to remove your frown. I know why it's there."

How did he know?

Dazed he followed forth to his motorbike.

Kong had almost forgotten to ask about that girl. But on Thier way back, Forth had helpfully supplied by himself,

" That person is a model student"
