Lindsey's POV
I walked across the halls after training. It was past eight in the evening. I didn't want to go to dinner, I just wasn't in the mood. I hope no one noticed I was gone, if they did I will be in serious trouble. Breaking the law and not following the law is something that is strictly restricted. But oh well, I'm a trouble maker right? I always was, at least that's what I think, although you can't really think when your mind is completely blank. The surroundings were dull and uninteresting. I wondered how can all these people live in such a boring land. By now I have figured out the basic plan of the city. I was heading towards the outdoor patio. There I could inhale the breeze and think out loud. If you get what I mean.
I have already earned my monthly achievement card, the troopers and my instructor was fairly satisfied with my skills. I felt satisfied too, although I didn't really understand why I had to train so hard. My muscles are visible now and I'm loosing my feminine characteristics. My steps echoed as I slowly walked along the blank walls. I thought about first going to my glass room to change out of my training gear but then I thought better of it and walked directly to the patio, my favourite place in the city.
Leaning against the banister and looking down to the unknown below me, I sensed someone behind me, their breath even and deep. I turned around.
