Lindsey's POV

The angel figure led me through many passages. They were most likely made from glass, clear surfaces stretched almost everywhere. The floor was crystal clear as well, with every step I took the more confidence I gained, although it still felt werid walking on glass. Lots of figures gave me looks; some kind some unwelcoming, blank. The angel led me into a small room.

-Wait here. Someone will come to you shortly.

The figure gave me a quick nod.

-See you soon Lindsey.

Lindsey? Who is Lindsey? What is all this? Loads of questions popped out in my head and I seemed to have no answers for them, nor someone who would answer them for me. I began getting impatient and nervous. My palms were sweaty. I was still dressed in my old clothes. Jeans and a leather jacket. I wiped my hands off my jeans to make them dry.

I was alone in the glass room. I walked over to one of the walls surrounding me. Peaking out I saw many other rooms, similar to mine. And lots of other new inhabitabts I suppose. They seemed cluless, in the little rooms provided. That sent a spark of relievement  through me. I wasn't alone in this place.

Before I knew it (and got to think about a good reaction) someone walked in, making me turn around abruptly to face them.

This time the figure had a face, although it was emotionless. She was dressed in white. Her eyes grey and sparkling. She carried a stack of clothes. For me? What about my old clothes? I want to keep them. There's no way I'm changing into this shit. I'll look just like them then. No, that just ain't happening. The figure stepped closer, I tensed a litttle. She was looking at me with her grey eyes. Then unexpecadly she made a statment that seemed to come from her chest, rather than from her mouth.

"You are required to change into those clothes." I didn't know what to do. It felt akward talking to a... But instead of being rude I took the clothes and waited for the figure to exit the room, but she (I presumed it was a she, since her silhouette looked like a woman's.) just stood there without a word, as stiff as a board. I glanced down at the others. They were already changing. The guy closest to me had his pants on already. His bare chest flashing muscles. There was a scar on his chest though.

Without further thought I put on the clothes the fugre gave me. They felt fresh and stiff. They turned out to be white like snow skinny leggins/jeans, a sleevless tunic that stopped mid-thigh, and a blazer made from some really weird material. As for the shoes, they were just plain platfrom trainers.

-Take your jewellery off. The figure said.

I had black gothic-type earings and a few bralcets. On my neck there was a golden neklace with a small aztec design carved in the small plate. I took it off, without thinking, and handed it to the figure. Her eyes scanned me from head to toe as if lookking for any other belongings I might have.

-Follow me. Her voice sounded modified. Without questioning I did so.

We walked out of the glass room and on to the corridor. Many other humans led by their figures, dressed in white, walked in the same direction. My room was situated at height because as I walked and looked down the banister, the ground was very high down. It made me dizzy just looking down, so instead I just looked ahead. We walked, and walked. Through corridors, stairways, tunnels and open spaces.

On the way I saw many other frightened creatures and I tried giving them a small smile. Meaning to say "Hey, I'm in the same position, I'm scared as shit and hold on bro." Finally the figure stopped. I have to say I wasn't expecting that either so I stumbled and almost fell. Before my eyes was a pait of huge doors, leading to a big chamber. The doors were decorated with engravings. Some signs I didn't recognise and the words "aula lucis" streching along the doors. Two angels, with unbelievably powerful wings, guarded the door. Each with a crest on their apparel, and a pilum in their right hand. With a loud creak the doors began opening. Blinding rays of light hit me.
