M had questioned Bond again and again, as if his loyalty to the Crown was in question, and he didn't like being interrogated by anyone, even though M was his superior he was still on the defence.

"Sinclair was never used by us Bond, you are being led down the garden path and falling head first into a trap, our intel on Sinclair is pristine, MI5 is never wrong" snapped M at Bond.

"And I know what I heard, Sinclair and uncut, it all matches up, the contact will be at Sinclair, I will pose as L and get our man" he shouted back

"YOU WILL NOT" screamed M. She was furious "you have this lot to clean up, a HQ almost destroyed, all these bodies with masks and don't think we don't know about the body you were so careless to leave laying about at the Harbour" then it was over, M had turned her back and left the room.

Bond knew he was punished and he was the only one in MI5 history to ever get under M's skin, but never to this point, he had never seen M this angry. He was also convinced Sinclair was the meeting point and L's contact would be there. Bond left as soon as possible and gotten into his car, drove off and left the castle behind him, he was going North East to the top of Scotland, he knew he was right.

About an hour later Greer had stopped at a tiny bed and breakfast he had spotted from the main road. Rented a room for the night and was able to dye his hair blonde, the same colour as L's, he even picked up the same colour of clothes, when he had finally left the rented room he looked like a different human being. Bond had even picked up L's glasses from earlier, after pushing out the lens, he put them on.

All that was left was a stakeout, and two other people that could help him now, Moneypenny and Q.
