Greer removed a pair of binoculars from the leather case he had carried to the roof an hour earlier and opened the case by saying the word Margaret, a small rotating sound told him the word was correct. If the case was ever to be forced open it would activate the tiny bomb which the case was lined with. Q had told him to "use your brains double o" after Greer tried to force the case open at the beginning, after failing to get to grips with several of the items Q had wanted him to test in the field. His chosen word which deactivated the wired bomb inside the case was his mother's name.

It was a cold November night on the Fifth. Greer brought the lenses to his eyes and a small retinal scan flowed over his eyes recognising him as the user, on the lens he could see several bits and pieces of information scrolling upwards, all attaining to his mission. The target, the location, the time of the targets arrival to the harbour. After several seconds he was able to use the binoculars correctly, he zoomed out towards the boat but could see nothing in that late hour, moving his finger to a button at the side it allowed him to see everything clearly, the boat popped into view, it was at quite a distance.

An incoming message popped up suddenly onto the lens and read very few words.

Abort mission
Abort mission
Abort mission
Abort mission

Greer frowned, he couldn't believe he was asked to drive this far to such a remote location all to have his mission be aborted by HQ. He set the binoculars down beside his tea and sipped more of it. Was this just an obedience test? Was someone else going to take his place? Did he unqualify?

A deafening screech and roar had shot over his head, it was moving fast, undoubtedly it was a jet, several seconds later and the boat Greer was waiting on had erupted into fire and flame.
