Sequel to Finn Wolfhard fanfiction "Stay Calm", 4 years later what has become of Y/N and Finn's relationship and knowledge of each other, what is Y/N's life like after a huge loss and rollercoaster of bottling up each and every emotion?
After the music died down the attending guests were seated once again and continued their chatter but just as I was about to sit down Millie yanked my arm toward her making me stumble over and send a brass dish clattering to the tiled floor.
The crash was unavoidable and the talking died down as all the celebrities turned to look at us ... along with, of course Y/N Y/L/N herself.
I made eye contact with the brunette as she bought her hand up to her mouth and giggled
"what is wrong with you?!" I hissed at Millie who was grinning in triumph "I'm just trying to get her attention Prince Charming" "quit calling me that?" "your contact name for her is literally 'Cinderella'" Millie rolled her eyes but the corners of her mouth were still curled into a smirk.
"come on then" she huffed pulling me out of my seat for the second time that evening "wait...no...Millie what are you doing?" I protested trying to tug my arm out of her karate death grip
"You're going to introduce me Mr. Wolfhard" the shorter girl giggled as we strolled over to Y/N's table. "no no no please Millie stop...let. me. go." I stuttered planting my feet on the floor making her stop
"Finn!" she laughed in disbelief "I'm doing this for me mainly, because if you don't talk to her then you'll be talking about her all week saying 'I wish I spoke to her blah blah why was I such a pussy'" Millie rose her voice into a whiney pitch, mocking me
"fine fine, BUT don't be...weird?" I sighed causing the girl to smile and resume her walk in the direction of Y/N.
"Ayyyyy buddy!" Jack shouted as he jumped out of his chair and ran toward me as millie stepped out of the way just in time before the shorter boy plowed into me
"hey Jack" I chuckled and he peeled himself off me body before each of the losers club members stood to greet me...everyone except her.
"h-hey Y/N" I smiled softly and the gorgeous girl in front of me returned the kind gesture "hi" she replied as we stared into each others eyes for what seemed like forever, they were so warm and comforting and little sparkles danced in the light against the cool blue irises
Wyatt's snort interrupted the silence and I blinked a couple times realising how long it had actually been and I looked at my toes in discomfort before Millie elbowed me in the ribs "ow-oh um Y/N this is Millie, Millie this is Y/N" I cleared my throat and Millie stretched her hand out to shake Y/N's.
"OMG you're so much prettier in real life, erm not that you're not pretty in photos but- ugh you know what I mean" Millie rambled on as Y/N's eyes widened "uh well thank you i guess, but I'm not an award winning actress, it's truly an honour" she smiled.
"ooo I think the third course is being served" Millie squealed clapping her hands in excitement "hey um take my number we could maybe hang out later" she gave her phone to Y/N who quickly exchanged numbers before handing Millie's phone back
"thank you! I'll see you later I guess" she giggled before turning on her heel and grabbing my arm once again, marching back to our table as I turned around and gave the losers club a weak wave, laughing as I went.

"why are you pouting so much Wolfhard?" Gaten chuckled "no reason" I sighed turning away from the table to watch the waiters and waitresses bring out plates of food "he's just mad because I got Y/N's new number and he didn't" Millie giggled punching my shoulder lightly
"I am not, now shoosh I'm trying to hear the music" I frowned at the stage trying not to smile "there's literally not music playing" sadie added making the rest of the table burst into laughter as food was placed in front of us.
A/N/// sorry for a bit of a shorter one :) I'm kinda updating all over the place because for me, i live in NZ so exams are coming up very soon so I'm kinda dedicating my life to that atm haha hope you enjoyed the chapter (they finally met again :)
